I'm honestly suprised as hell that they put Punk over like that. Wow. That's awesome. Great match. That lionsault looked like it hurt like hell when Jericho's leg smacked Punk in the face. I'd love to see those two go at it one on one on PPV.

ok, i can see them announcing another match too see who will be finlays replacement, prob kennedy vs. kingston or someone, then kennedy wins, goes on too beat regal and then kennedy vs. punk, ending with kennedy using foul tactics to beat punk and become MISSSTTTERRRRR KING OF THE RING...........................................RING

So does the KOTR winner get a title shot like they have done previously? I think it would be great if Punk were to win the KOTR...then get a title shot in the near future for winning it. He loses the title match...then immediately cashes in the MITB contract and gets the win.

this was kind of my point. it's over-doing it. Plus Punk has not had rip-roaring reactions since day one, his best when he won the ECW strap  . |

Was the crowd booing him or Jericho? I was on the comp and just heard Booing.. They've booed Punk all night Well Matt Hardy and Jericho are two of the most over wrestlers in the WWE, so it probably wasn't the best way to get a face reaction for Punk by having him face both of them. Punk will probably get a bigger pop facing Regal though. |

Jericho's face has been getting a beating. SCM, point blank. GTS, point blank. Punch from show, point blank. Didn't block any of it.

What the was the point of Punk winning. I like him but that made no sense. First of all, he's the MITB holder, that there is a big enough title already. Secondly, he can only get over with the SD/ECW crowds because he got "X-Pac heat" tonight. And finally, what will this do for him, he still doesn't have a spot on the PPV and is obviously going to win against Regal tonight, which also means ABSOUL " ING" UTELY NOTHING. |

Go King Regal. I like punk but he already won MITB. TBH I think if they have Punk win KOTR it will be a great idea, not just because i'm a huge Punk fan, but it helps build him up as a credible contender for a world title. |
