Mercydrive appears on a stand opposite of a giant wooden stage with a large WrestleMania 24 banner, two chambers placed on either side, the World Wrestling Federation logo above the banner and two side screens with the WrestleMania logo on. Beyond the stage sits a lower level stage, a ramp in front of the
artificial stage. Two beams placed on either side of the ramp. The aisle leads down around a mile before turning left and showing the ring, clad in what seems to be reused from WrestleMania I.
The band plays "Burning Light" as several moments later, several masked ninjas leap from a top the World Wrestling Federation logo. Suddenly another one appears on top of the WWF logo and unmasks to show himself as Randy Orton, he tears off his shirt and pants to show his wrestling attire, the WWF Heavyweight Championship wrapped around his waist. He raises his arms into the air as pyro explodes in front of him. The golden sparks fall to the stage below before Orton grabs on a cable and lowers down onto the stage itself before taking a walk of fame down the aisle, the other ninjas at his right and left, seven on each side, stood in a line. Orton climbs the steps as the ninjas await around the ring, like a manager on fourteen screens.
Orton awaits in the ring before the words 'Viva La Raza' appears on the big screen, the lights going out, leaving the crowd in darkness. A video plays, showing the history of Eddie Guerrero's life, mostly in ECW, then WCW and finally the WWF. It ends with a giant question mark before his theme plays as the crowd goes beserk. Eddie then drives out from the backstage area, driving a Ferrari, He sticks his head out of the side window and screams 'Viva La Raza' causing silver bolts of lightning to errupt on either side of the stage. He jumps off of the wooden stage onto the steel ramp, before rushing down the aisle, stopping at the tight corner, just in front of the ring steps. He climbs out of the car and removes his shirt, throwing it somewhere into the sea of people.
Eddie goes to walk up the ring steps, reaching the top before realising the ninjas gathering up, Eddie climbs back onto the middle turnbuckle before hitting a missile dropkick onto them all, Eddie quickly gets up and gives a ninja several rights and lefts, big back body dropping him into the thin black carpeting. Eddie knocks another two over with a double clothesline. Guerrero catches one running at him and slams his head into the ring steps before slamming a ninja's head into the ring post, catching another ninja by the head and slamming each others heads against one another. Eddie launches another two black cloaked men over the barricade before throwing a ninja spine first into the ring apron before taking down the last two with two consequetive hip tosses.
Eddie taunts to the crowd and climbs onto the apron before getting onto the middle rope and taunting, the crowd going crazy for the number one contender. Eddie gets back onto the apron and climbs into the ring, the 65,346 fans chanting Eddie's name. Guerrero and Orton stand in corresponding turnbuckles as a bell brings silence to the arena. The two stand toe-to-toe, awaiting for the other man to make the first move. Orton and Eddie have words, grinning mischievously and standing back into his corner. Eddie paces back and forth in his side of the ring, the referee standing in the middle of the two rivals, in a neutral position. Michael Buffer then steps out of a chamber door and stands on the wooden stage, microphone in hand.
[Buffer]- This contest is scheduled for one fall with a two hour time limit, and a twenty second count out limit. The rules are as follows, there will be a decision made when a wrestler is pinned or forced into submission whilst in the white canvas area of the ring, the WWF Championship will change hands by a pinfall, submission, disqualification or a count out. Now onto the match itself. This match is the main event of the evening and is scheduled for one fall. The match is for the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship of the World.

And now with sixty-nine thousand fans in attendence, for the billions of viewers watching around the globe in over 150 countries, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, are you ready? *echo* I said are you ready? *louder echo* well, Let's Get Ready To Rumble!
The crowd explode as Buffer drops the microphone and returns to the back as another three bells ring and the referee swings his arms into the air and crouches down a little. Eddie jumps around on the spot as Orton rotates his shoulder and arm muscle around 360 degrees. The two close in to the centre, Orton looking down at Eddie, the challenger only up to Orton's nose. Orton talks trash before spitting in Eddie's forehead. Eddie laughs and licks his upper lip before brushing it off his face. Eddie throws it to the mat before mouthing something and running at the WWF Champion. Eddie spears Orton into the corner, the referee trying to seperate the two gladiators. Orton drives his forearm into the spine of Eddie before throwing Guerrero into the turnbuckle ansd giving Orton a hard chop across the chest, resulting in several thousand echoes in the arena. Orton slaps Eddie across the face and gives Eddie another chop before driving his elbow into the side of the Mexican's face. Eddie turns to the fans, leaning over the top rope, covering up the mark where Orton nailed him. Orton pulls Eddie's head down over the top rope, trying to choke the challenger out before breaking it out before the referee's break-up count. Orton stomps Eddie in the back of the leg, knocking Guerrero down to one knee. Orton hangs Eddie over the middle rope before breaking up the five count given from the official before running off the ropes and going to deliver a knee over the back of the head but Eddie falls back onto the canvas as Orton gets crotched over the middle rope and falls onto the apron.
Eddie gets on his knees and delivers several shots to Orton's head before grabbing onto the top rope and landing on Orton, he falls over onto his front, Eddie falls below Orton as Orton lands on top of Eddie. Randy falls onto the thin carpeting above the grass as the referee starts the count. Eddie begins to slowly shake off the reversed suicide dive, grabbing onto the blue ring apron to pull himself onto one knee. Eddie slowly rolls into the ring under the ropes as Orton uses the barricade to drag him to his feet before going to crawl into the ring himself just for Eddie to come at him with a baseball slide however it backfires as Orton waits at Eddie's side before slamming Orton spine first into the barricade. Orton gives Eddie a European Uppercuit followed up by another one before whipping him knee first into the ring steps, causing Eddie to flip forward onto the floor in front of the announce table. Orton rolls in and then out of the ring to break the ring out count, Orton goes to pick up Eddie but Eddie gives Orton a thrust into the ribs before shoving the Champion backwards and delivering a picture perfect dropkick. Orton trips over the steel steps, falling on his front. Eddie then dives onto the second step and goes to dive on Orton just to have it reversed into a big back body drop on the aisle. Orton kicks Eddie in the ribs as the two brawl midway up the aisle. Orton goes to set up for the RKO but Eddie throws him away and hits Orton with a suplex onto the mat! Eddie slowly runs to the ringside area, back into the ring by the count of seven.
Orton begins to move before crawling on all fours to the ringside area, getting back into the ring by the count of fourteen. Eddie walks over to Orton, going to deliver a right hand but Orton nails him with a jawbreaker. Eddie turns his head to Orton, clutching his jaw before Orton uses the corner to get back to his feet, kicking Eddie in the lower leg, causing Eddie to back flip into the canvas. Orton drops an immediate elbow drop over the spine of Eddie before delivering a right and left, roughing up the challenger, Guerrero. Orton awaits Eddie to get onto his feet, bent over before Orton delivers a running knee to the nose of Eddie. Guerrero falls backwards into the corner before Orton splashes Eddie in the corner, following up with a bulldog. Orton covers but unfortunately Eddie raises a shoulder to Orton. Orton slaps on a sleeper hold. Eddie tries to fight it, struggling his elbows around attempting to hit Orton, just to have the champion apply even more pressure on the head of Latino Heat. Orton puts a cherry on top of the cake as he delivers two or three knees to the behind of Eddie before releasing the hold. Orton gently stomps on the head of Eddie before dropping a double knee across the forehead of the challenger. The crowd chant Eddie's name, banging their feet on the stand floors and clapping their hands together. Orton pulls Eddie to his feet by grabbing his tights, before raising his arms into the air and going for a powerbomb. Orton lifts Eddie over one shoulder like the Jackknife Powerbomb in the shadows of Sid Vicious.
Orton wraps his arms around Eddie's throat going to drop him on his back but Eddie lands on his feet and connects with a neckbreaker of his own! Eddie rolls over to the corner, getting onto one knee slowly before raising one hand into the air and climbing onto the apron and slowly getting onto the top rope. Eddie puts one knee on the top and raises his arms into the air, getting set up for the match ending Frog Splash. He climbs onto the top and goes for the Frog Splash but out of nowhere Randy Orton runs onto the top and nails him with an RKO! Orton hooks the legs but Eddie kicks out at two! Orton falls backwards onto the canvas before Eddie lifts a finger and rolls over onto his front, using his hands to get to his feet, he gets on one knee before falling back and rolling onto his feet. Eddie taunts to the crowd before Orton springs up and goes for an RKO but Eddie runs Orton off the ropes and Eddie hits a suplex, before going for another but Orton turns it into an RKO but Eddie turns it into a backdrop. Eddie slowly crawls onto the apron and climbs up top before hitting the Frog Splash! He hooks the leg, the one, the two and it's over! The crowd go crazy as Eddie gets on his knees, an emotional man. The official raises his hand and hands him the WWF Heavyweight Championship. Eddie hugs the gold before placing it against his forehead and falling backwards. Eddie rolls out of the ring as the official helps the former WWF Champion, Randy Orton out of the ring and Eddie hugs Vickie in the audience, using his strength to pull the barricade down. The crowd rush out of the gap and jump into the ring. Vickie and the kids get into the ring with Chavo and alot of other close friends and wrestlers. Around twenty wrestlers and fans hold Eddie up in the air, holding the WWF title with pyro going off in the air, tears running down his cheek.
