Hi all. Just got back from 1PW's Know Your Enemy event in Doncaster, UK where the NRC of Roderick Strong & Davey Richards were due to take on Zebra Kid & Sam Slam. They announced that Davey had missed his flight because he was in a car crash on the way to the airport - his back is apparently hurt as a result of it and he was unable to get a flight out.

Damn... Davey is one of my favorites today and a very nice guy. I hope he isn't injured too badly. Hopefully he recovers quickly.

oh crapthat sucks. Davey is a phenomenal guy and a phenomenal talent. Here's wishing him the best in a speedy and healthy recovery!

Man, I hope he's not on the shelf or anything. I really love Davey, and he's one of the more new talents that i've really gotten into and become a fan of. Here's to hoping that he isn't injured or hurt indefintley.

Because wether you like it or not, I just saw anfantastic four way between Joe, AJ, Daniels, and Charlie Haas from 1PW that went about 50 minutes. One of the better mainstream UK promotions ive seen. |

Or do you just judge becuse you dont like the owner... 1PW is far from shitty. It gets guys like AJ,Sandman, Abyss, Steve Corino etc. How many other UK promotions can bring that to you? If it wasnt for 1PW im sure, I and many wrestling fans, wouldn't have had the chance eto see them guys in action. |

Wrestling in the UK is a dead past time. ...and car accidents happen. He didn't get into an accident because he was booked for 1PW, he was in an accident, problay because he's from America and driving on the other side of the car is odd for some people. I love how you this is a thread about someone being injured, and all you can do is bitch about a fed that puts on good shows. Because God knows the UK hardly has any of those. |

Damn, Davey is a main selling point for me when buying ROH DVDs... easily my favorite indy wrestler along with Steen, Hero, and Claudio. I hope he makes a quick and full recovery.

Damnit. This sucks/ Davey is the only guy in ROH, besides Delirious and Bryan Danielson, that I enjoy watching. He is also just making a name for himself here in St. Louis. I hope he gets well soon.

Does anyone know the extents of his back injury? Next month he's coming in for the group im apart of, IPW. and he's coming back in the fall for our Junior Tournament. Hope he's not out that long...
