my college is going on strike on Thursday, but only like half the teachers I don't know why It's because not all of the teachers are part of the same union. For example: My woodwork teacher Mr. Moore is part of the union that is not striking, while my history teacher Mr. Jones is part of the union that is striking. They are striking about pay or something like that. |

My school / 6th form is still open as usual, every time something like this has happened, my school has muddled through desperatley instead of doing the sensible thing and send everyone home.

Everyone apart from year 10 is in because we have exams so we are only in school for a like a half day that day

Nah we won't get that at our college. We get bomb scares every other week though. Cos there's a few thousand people that are in the college, and the fact that we're right in the middle of the highstreet, we're always just told not to come back because it causes too much crowding in the centre of the highstreet and the police don't like it. ;[ bad bad rikishi men we are

i asked my welding instructor if he is striking thursday he said he is, so i may not have to go into college unless my fabrication guy does strike. but im an apprentice so work said i may have to go to them for the day.
