Source: PWInsider.com - At this time, a new contract has been offered to current TNA superstar Sting. There is no word if he has accepted the deal. Sting's current contract expires at the end of 2007, and he is not expected back with the company prior to that point as he is taking a break until January to spend time with his family. Sting's original plan was to retire at the end of 2007, but TNA would like to re-sign him for one more year. - TNA Knockout Talia Madison recently spoke on her MySpace about her recent name change. She appeared on iMPACT last night under the name Velvet Sky and here is what she had to say: "I've received lots of messages regarding the new names Angel Williams and myself are now going by in TNA. Most of your questions were asking if it was us that changed our names and the answer to that is no. TNA management are the ones that gave us those names. However, I will still be going by the name "Talia Madison" at my indy shows. That name will not die. Hope that clears it up for everyone." - TNA is reportedly in negotiations with a well known international wrestler to have him come in and work a regular role with the company. We hope to have more details on this soon.

Straight from TNA Mobile: "TNA in negoations with international FILM and TV star known as "the Beast". I don't like the words "Film & TV" star when talking about wrestling

The only person I can think of that was ever know as 'The Beast' was Dan Severn, but I wouldn't exactly call him a star of any media.

The Beast that isn't Dan Severn, big internationally, and a film/TV star. Easy.

Is this the same Bob Sapp from Japan and MMA fame? Did he make some weight or what, he's no longer skin and bones... please note, I know he's always been big. He's just looking porno star big in that promo pic. That's not a visualization I needed, by the way.

I wouldn't mind if Sting stayed around for another year. He's a great talent for any organization to have. I don't really like the name changes for the few TNA Knock-Outs that did change their names.
And I don't think TNA should take the route and bring in some international television star. He'll just end up being another HUGE waste of time and money, just like Pacman Jones. My God, I bet TNA are still kicking themselves in the ass for bringing that idiot into the mix. What a giant waste of money that guy was.
I mean, I wouldn't pay that goof $10 to come and stand in my room, let alone the reported $25,000 per appearance TNA was shelling out for his "services", if you can even call them that.

Bob Sapp would be sweet depending on what the hell they could do with him.

Meh, Goldberg would be a better aquisition. 1.5 ratings. Bob Sapp = no rating improvements.

Bob Sapp should only be brought in as a bodyguard of sorts. Besides, if he cost too much money for WWE to sign, he'd kill TNA.

Meh, Goldberg would be a better aquisition. 1.5 ratings. Bob Sapp = no rating improvements. TNA already has 1.5, so by your logic Goldberg wouldn't help. Plus I wouldn't watch TNA if Goldberg was there, he sucks. Bob Sapp I would watch because he's entertaining.

I hope Sting wrestles as long as he can.
He's my favourite of all time, i'll be really saddened if he goes.
