Aprils Solicitations have been posted: www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=9369and there is a big lack of Captain America... There is a mini called "CIVIL WAR: FALLEN SON" all about the Marvel Universes reaction to the death of one of its "most beloved heroes". So does it appear Captain America is dead? I'll wait and see but if it is happening, its a real shame. Brubaker's run has been amazing. The only other option I see if Stark dying, someone else takes over his armour (Hill or Captain America) but I doubt he'd be considered "beloved" at this point in time. But to give it a point, what do you think the ending could be? Looking at the evidence of upcoming issues and where the story is heading I think this is it (hence the title, didn't want to ruin it for anyone)Oh and my call for Amazing Spider-Man: Marvel throws a swerve and its May who dies, not MJ

ok....just to digress looking at those solicits...Marvel Zombies/Army of Darkness? Hell yes! anyway...
I think its Stark. I recall reading something about the MIghty Avengers and they were very much "we dont know WHO is in the suit" coy. However, seeing the death of Cap-the Sentinel of Liberty-die for fighting what he believes is MUCH more powerful and would end the conflict.
Hmmm...yet if Cap fell, I couldnt see anyone really working with Stark again. Forget Speedball, Stark would one up him in the pennace department.
Though I also dont see a lot of Reed Richards in anything either. That's a bit strange.

I'm sure she'd be too upset to be superheroing

Cap dies and gets retconned back into existence in four months.
I don't doubt it for one second.

well, thinking about it, Reed has died a few times, so maybe not him. I'd say it could be Sue, but then they JUST had a comic about her dying. I really think it'll be Tony. Cap's gotten a surge of popularity lately and taking Tony out for a while lets them unleash something big when the movie is about to come out. Also all the IM solicits are careful to never say Tony's name.
If it is Cap, I agree....he'll be "dead" like Superman was.
