Can anybody list any good animated movies like the recently released Invincible Iron Man? That can be bought on DVD and such.

Do you like Invincible Iron Man?
The only other two from Marvel are Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2. They are produced by the same team (the art is different) so you should enjoy them too.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was awesome. Not sure how easy it is to find, though.
A lot of DC's movies are just multiple episodes of a series. Batman & Superman: World's Finest wasn't bad, nor was Justice League: Star-Crossed.
If I were you, I would pick up the new Hellboy animated movie coming out soon. I saw it on Cartoon Network and it kicked serous ass! It even had Ron Perlman and Selma Blair doing the voices of Hellboy and Liz Sherman!

There will be a series of comics-based animated DVDs from DC starting this year. The first to be released is an adaptation of The Teen Titans "Judas Contract". It won't be influenced by anime either, it's designed to resemble the art from the comics.
In the meantime, you should check out Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. I'm a total mark for Marvel Comics, but that was great.

I'm a total mark for Marvel Comics, but that was great. I would love to see a DC movie not done the BTAS/JLA style. I hated when BTAS went to the "new" look which was a much "cleaner" look in terms of the linework, it just doens't do it for me. When BTAS was doing it, it was great because it was new and it fit the story, the rest of the stuff though just looks like a ripoff, and I know you can't ripoff your own stuff, but it just looked lazy on behalf of DC. I have not realy checked out any of the Marvel movies, but visually they look a lot better than DC's. As for american cartoons trying to go for the anime look, I think they always fall on their faces. They should let the animes do what they are good at (which is making cartoons) while americans do what they are good at...(which is,ummmm I can really only think of two american carttons I have liked BTAS and Beast Wars). Not to sound negative, but the art on DC's movies does not really cut it for me. Phantasm is good though.

I thought Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker was fantastic but you might need to get the Batman Beyond movie to fully understand it. and you can get it by itself or in the batman beyond season 1 set.
