whats up with my match on the bracket? It's going to be a triple-threat match. Due to the fact that it's the only triple-threat match in the tournament, the winner of the match will get a "bye", the following week.

Welcome to our live coverage of National Wrestling Circuit's debut show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the request of the "American Dragon", himself, we are proud to announce that the Wrestling Observer website will be will be revealing match results every Sunday from now on. 1) NWC World Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #1 - Matt Ryland defeated Nick Jacobs (8:04) after hitting the "That's Original!". **1/4. Although the wrestling wasn't all that great, both wrestlers had awesome charisma, which really drew the crowd in. I could definately see both of these guys making it big in NWC in the future.
2) NWC World Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #1 - Anthony McCraver defeated Brock Irish and Evan Pagano (13:37) after hitting the "I'd Hit It" on Irish. ***1/2. Holy crap. I didn't think that we'd be seeing such good of a match already. McCraver and Pagano got some serious heat, as they made their way to the ring. Irish, on the other hand, had the crowd behind him. Shortly after Irish nailed a devastating "GoldRush" on Pagano, McCraver came out of nowhere, crushed Irish with a sick "I'd Hit It", and pinned him for the three count. McCraver's "dickhead" attitude really separates him from the rest of the heels in NCW, that's for sure. 3) NWC World Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #2 - Kid Carnage defeated Assassin (9:22) with a roll-up and his hands on the ropes. **1/2. Assassin looked like an absolute beast, dominating the entire match with kicks, slaps, and even a few powerbombs. In the end, Carnage caught Assassin with a quick roll-up and was able to cheat by grabbing ahold of the ropes for the three. The crowd was quite pissed off that Assassin lost. Decent match, to say the least. --- Trainee, Johnny Arsenic, made his way to the ring and introduced himself to the crowd. He explained how he was from Canada and how much he disliked America. In order to recieve even more heat, Arsenic began making fun of random fans in the crowd. This brought out his opponent for tonight, Tommy Atkins, the self-proclaimed "American Hero". Atkins began telling him off, which led to Arsenic giving him a headbutt, bloodying him, and finally, yelling at the referee to "ring the bell". --- 4) NWC World Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #2 - Tommy Atkins defeated Johnny Arsenic (20:15) after hitting him with the "Atkins Assault". ***3/4. I really didn't think that we'd be seeing another three-star match here tonight. Boy, I was wrong. There was plenty of back and forth action, which really brought in drama. The match came to an end when Arsenic attempted to nail the "Dishonourable Discharge", but Atkins managed to counter the kick into the "Atkins Assault" for the win. --- Intermission break. --- 5) NWC World Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #3 - Safu Anoa'i defeated Nikollaj Punk (2:51) with the Samoan Drop. DUD. Punk looked decent and was able to get in a few stiff dropkicks, but it really had no effect on Anoa'i. The finish came when Anoa'i's manager, Lou Glamsley, distracted the referee, allowing Anoa'i to get a quick kick to Punk's balls, followed by the Samoan Drop for the three count. Not much to say, other than the fact that it was a glorified squash match. 6) Bryan Danielson and Erick Stevens defeated Rhett Titus and Roderick Strong (29:36) after Danielson made Titus tap to the Cattle Mutilation. ***1/2. A so-so match, but the crowd really loved it. Strong and Stevens spent a lot of time in the ring, tearing eachother apart, which was quite entertaining. While Stevens and Strong were battling on the outside, Danielson was able to quickly lock Titus in the Cattle Mutilation for the win. --- Danielson grabbed a microphone, post-match. He thanked all of the fans for coming to tonight's show. Before dropping the mic, he announced that Austin Aries would be appearing at next week's show, which got the crowd quite excited. --- Overall, a solid debut show. To be honest with you, I didn't think the talent that came out of Danielson's school would really explode on this show, but they proved me wrong. See you all next week.

Dang it, I wish I won my match but, having the something like the IC/U.S is ok with me. I kind of knew that Kid Carnage would have won the match. It was a great show. I wonder what I am doing in the next show.

The debut show was very good. Im glad I got the win but by a squash just kills Safu's credibility. However, I love Lou helping out. Anyways, overall show. Glad Bryan Danielson and Eric Stevens won. Cant wait for the next show.

Thursday, May 15th, 2008Let me start off by saying that our debut show went better than I could have ever imagined. All of the trainees performed to their full potential and their hard work really showed. If you weren't able to make it to last week's show, then you missed my announcement. My good pal, Austin Aries, will be making a special guest appearance this Sunday. Who will he be taking on, exactly? I asked him to pick one man on the roster that he'd like to go one-on-one against. Instead of waiting for this Sunday, I'll tell you who he chose right now -- Nick Jacobs. Why, Nick Jacobs, exactly? To be honest with you, Austin didn't tell me why, but he said that we'd all be finding out this Sunday. I'm sure that it'll be a fantastic match. Again, if you're in the Philadelphia area, please stop by and check out the show this Sunday at 8:00PM, sharp. All tickets are general admission and are at a small price of $15 a piece. Before I take off, here is the updated NWC World Championship tournament bracket: Take care, all. I hope to see you Sunday night. "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson

First show was AWESOME. I love this, especially because of Danielsons involvement. My match seemed cool, and the main event was great, considering Danielson was in it.

We cut to Nick Jacobs' locker room, after the big announcement...
Jacobs: Matt Ryland, I would like to say that I felt you and I had a great match, and good luck...But moving on to bigger and better things...Austin Aries. I'll say its an honor to wrestle you, but you better bring your A game, because if not, you'll receive a Guitar Solo for the 1.2.3!
