I just can't comprehend how anyone can still respect the guy after what he did, that's all. By display a pic of him, in my mind, you are still showing respect to him, which is wrong. Completely wrong. No other way around it.
To hell with his wrestling ability. I could give a damn if he was an amazing wrestler or not. In the end, he was a nut-job that murdered his wife & son. That's what he really should be remembered for. End of story.

Hey Mercennario, I've got one question for ya. Why do you have a murderer in your sig?? I mean, seriously. Why in the hell do you have someone who viciously strangled his wife and son and then hung himself in your sig?? Do you still respect the guy or something?? That's like having picture of Jeffery Dahmer or Ted Bundy or David Berkowitz or John Wayne Gacy in your sig. Makes no sense and it's wrong. Because some of us choose to remember Chris Benoit for his amazing talent and work ethic, and the fact that he busted his ass to put on an amazing show every time he was in the ring for a decade and a half. That's as opposed to the actions of an obviously disturbed and mentally ill man in the last two days of his life. I don't know if you know this, but Dahmer attempted to turn people into undead sex zombies by injecting chemicals into their brain, and was a cannibal. There's a difference between a complete psychopath and a guy who's brain is basically a concussion stress and drug cocktail snapping one weekend. As far as the actual topic at hand, I'm a little confused as to the meaning of the text. Is Punk saying never again to the faulty finish, or to Chris Benoit going suplex crazy? |

I don't mean to get harping on the subject, but personally for me I find it so hard to even watch a Benoit match now. I seriously stopped watching wrestling for about a year (just started again) because of how things unfolded and basically the way it was handled by the WWE and media. Benoit went from being my favorite wrestler ever, to a person who I can't even watch.

This thread was better when I was making jokes about how Benoit is a murderer and how Kevin Sullivan did it.
Now it's just lame because people are pretending he as a person is different than the guy in the ring.

Benoit went from being my favorite wrestler ever, to a person who I can't even watch. That's exactly the way it should be. Also, to respond to what Daeth Baer said, to me, there is no difference between Chris Benoit & Jeffery Dahmer. They both killed people right?? So, they are the same in my book. They were both  ed-up in the head and didn't deserve the life they had. |

I hope that didnt have anything to do with the murder. At the end of the match, you see how pissed Benoit was. Maybe the anger unleashed a week later and he killed Nancy and Daniel. I am one of the biggest Benoit supporters, but for some reason that made me LMFAO instantly. |

Forget the fact he molested some of his victims, drilled through their bones, cannibalized them, and kept their skulls. that, Benoit was just as bad. I'm pretty sure what Dahmer did was worse. I was a fan of Dahmer until he started killing all those people. At first, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but after the 3rd murder, I feel he betrayed me as a fan!
