If you don't want to be spoiled don't read... C.W was a total dissappointment, six issues to lead up to this huge fight/revealing moment/death/SOMETHING! not just Cap saying 'Hey guys guess what..MY BAD, we're wrong. OOPS!' I mean really what the heck did Cap think was gonna happen when he took his superhero fight to the streets? And didn't Tony have the streets cleared? So where the did that rag tag team of random public servants come from? And does anyone else want the Mrs. Sharpe lady to FN'ING DIE! I mean there is your antagonist for Civil War. She is prominantly the reason for it, a soccer mom with a grudge...might was well put a cape on her. Also I may be missing something but isn't Spiderman liscenced? So what exactly are the plans for him? Arrest him for being liscenced, I get the idea of guilt by association with unliscenced people but come on. God I want to PUNCH someone..anyone who thought this was a good idea. Civil War was unneccesary and FN'ING stupid. All the delays and pushed back dates and this is the crap they come up with for a finale? I would have rather they kill Iron man only to find out it's a clone of Tony. I mean they just basically made the comic Pro-Antiregistration, I really can't think of anyone who supported Tony. And then Cap just gives up.....WTF! So basically they wrote a story in which your team simply gives up. What a FN'ING waste of time. I swear to God WWH had better have Hulk messing some mofos up. Because after this let down I really just don't care about Marvel, the only Marvel book I'll pick up is Marvel Zombies v Evil Dead. (Also an apology about the swearing, I know it gets editted but I just felt the need anyway.)

I think most of it was off because of the writing. Most characters were so off like Cap and Iron Man.

Aunt May.....NOOOOOooOOOO!!!!
I wonder if they have the balls to follow through this time?
Can you imagine how awesome/horrible it would have been if they had done a head shot though. Marvel would have had sales go through the roof, if the final frame of ASM had been Peter and Mary Jane standing there in disbelief with Aunt May's Brains splattered all over them.

Yeah, that would have been good. Too bad Marvel doesn't have the balls to turn that out . . .

What an anti-climax. The theory works... Joss Whedon's idea so I can't fault him heh but it wasn't set up right. Looking back, Millar wasn't the right guy for the job. Captain America handing himself over made so sense. Why would that fight make a different when thousands dying in Stamford didn't? Why didn't he see sense in #3 and #4 when we saw the same fight? Why are we told in this issue the guys we've had about 100 issues in all telling us are evil fascists are actually right? I’m excited for the post Civil War world but in terms of writing Civil War can’t be seen as a success (Sales wise, its been a juggernaut and congrats to Marvel). We got a whole lot of built up to see the main character make a decision that wasn’t the logical route for the book. Logical idea, yes, but the entire storyline has been writing that if you agreed with the registration you were Hitler. Well, she's going to be on death's door for atleast 4 months till the "One More Day" storyline. So if she dies then, I say we won't see her for atleast 5 years.

Frontline #11 was good.. I like how they finally blamed the whole think on Stark. They should definately publish the stories.. it'd make things much more interesting.

Were they blaming Stark or praising him for his self sacrifice? I saw it the second way. I thought they were trying to justify his horrible actions. He's supposed to be a superhero, after all.

I love Sally Floyd and Urich's new online paper. They started it up to get the truth out there and two interviews in and they've already yelled and told off one guy, and buried the story of the other. The theory works... The two Iron Man/Cap fights we got throughout the crossover would also have to go as well.

One question to all, aren't we all glad this is over?
I was so excited for this mini but it should of been over a long time ago, perhaps I wouldn't of come out of it as unhappy as I am. Hopefully in a few months time my bitterness will of gone and I'll enjoy reading it over as back issues.
I'm very nervous about getting excited for Planet Hulk now, despite being hyped since Planet Hulk started.

It's not really over. They've really written this as a trilogy of sorts, from what I understand. With World War Hulk being the final chapter.

I've been interested in the fall out since it started. Even when I was enjoying the first half of the mini, I was more excited about the post Civil War world.

i'm new to this board, but thank gosh there is a place on these forums to express the way i feel about "civil war".i was hopeing that marvel was going to try a i.crisis, but i was sadly disappointed.what in the heck was the ending about?i mean cap just gave up..who's stupid idea was that?nobody died except c rate characters that could'nt hold a book on the stands without getting canceled.
next time i think i'll let my friend buy it before i spend that much money on a ridiculous story.

I was pretty pissed Typeface died. That was the coolest lamest E-List character made in the last 10 years... Well, maybe Mammomax had him beat but the New X-Men guys saw him off too

Yeah, I loved Typeface purely because he sucked and everyone acknowledged it, including cretor Paul jenkins. At least Jenkins himslef got the honor of killing the poor guy off.

Were you a fan of Jenkin's run on Spider-Man? I thought before it got changed to Spectacular Spider-Man it was an amazing run, some really fun stuff at a time when Spider-Man really needed it. Jenkin's latest stuff has sort of fallen flat
