Don't really care, if a song of theres is on the radio I won't turn it off, but I wouldn't bother finding one of their albums out.

One of the most awful bands I've ever heard and they've got the goofy look to go along with it.

I really like their new album. Not a big fan of Waking The Fallen or Sounding the Seventh Trumpet for the most part, and half of City of Evil is very good... but I'm really digging their self titled album, I've worn those tracks down on my iPod.
Say what you will about the band, but Synyster Gates is an amazingly talented guitarist, and The Rev is one of the most skilled drummers I've ever heard.
Shadows' vocals are hit and miss for me... Generally, I like them. There are six or seven really incredible tracks on the new record.

I love their first two albums, City of Evil and their S/T are terrible. M.Shadows is a terrible singer and drones his vocals. Sure they have flashy guitars and whatnot, but that doesn't equal good music.

Same here, he is phenominal. Makes me sad that people bash him and think he sucks. As for the band as a whole, I used to be a bigger fan. My fav track from thier new cd is "alittle piece of heaven" that song is sic. They really need a new image change, I liked it when city of evil first came out but now its just old and stupid looking. |
