Yeah, last I knew it was all planned out. Wasn't a bad idea, though, it got me to tune into Smackdown that week to see it.

I thought it was pretty cool even though it was planned. I remember marking out at home thinking it was real(this was before I cared what was real and what wasn't) and I just thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Yeah, that is planning, obvious. Because you can see Big Show move the ring stairs away before they doing suplex and snap the ring. If Big Show wasn't move the stairs. And the stairs would went flyer to the air and landing crowd. Because the post will push them away.

It was greatly planned, but I thought they actually broke the ring (although I knew about kayfabe)

Yeah. That was truly an awesome moment. But give them time. They'll repeat it again eventually with John Cena slamming someone and breaking the ring...

That crowd went nuts.. Sadly.. That was probably the last time i've heard a crowd get like that in so long on Raw and Smackdown.. Not counting ECW ONS..

It was so awesome at the time. It was a big "holy shit" moment, and of course I thought it was real back then. With two guys that big, it seemed believable.

I think they gave it slightly away just before it happened, i don't know how - Cole's commentary probably, i wasn't expecting it on the night but then something made me think the ring is gonna fall apart during that match. Cool moment never-the-less.
