Well, IMO, we need imaturity backstage, and childish rivalries backstage. Why you ask, well, lets look at some examples;
Bret/Michaels - which led to some of the ebst matches of all time Steve Austin/Rock - again, hating eachother resulted in huge matches
IMO, WWE need to stp being so harsh, and have a little fun backstage, let teh superstars be free in wat they do, who they like
Who else agrees?

Austin and The Rock were always friends. They never hated each other. The Rock even said it himself in an interview I read some time ago that him and Steve were very close.

There was a jealously between Austin and Rock only because The Rock took off when Austin was out injured. But they were friends. There wasn't any major heat between them. They just had a great rivalry booked.

No, just, no.
Immaturity is never a good thing in the wrestling business. It's funny that you mention Bret and Shawn, because both could have had great matches together if it weren't for both wrestler's immature attitudes during 1997. In other words, neither wanted to lose to one another which caused their Wrestlemania XIII rematch to be canceled as well as the proposed three or four losses in a row to HBK that Bret would have faced had he stayed with the company in November of 1997, leading up to 'Mania XIV. They never had that many great matches together to begin with and one of the reasons for that was because of their dislike for each other.
Austin and the Rock never hated each other, so I don't know where you get off assuming that (other than from the characters they played on TV each week).

Stone Cold and The Rock disliked each other at one time, and Steve Austin has said so himself. I was watching "The Mania of Wrestlemania" a few days ago, which is on teh WMXX dvd set, and at one point there is an interview with Steve Austin (post-WMXIX). He points out that him and Rock were great friends, however he admits they disliked each other at first.

Yeah, before they started working alot around WM15, Austina and Rock hated eachother Yes, If you watch Beyond The Mat and watch the part with Foley and Rock getting ready for their I Quit match, Rock is talking to Foley and his children and when Austin walks over you can clearly see he was pissed.

So when do we get our 5-star HHH/Jericho match?

As some one who actually watched during the era and not just old footage I can personaly say apart from there match at the 92 Survivor Series the majority of the HBK vs Hart matches were a huge dissapointment because of there resentment to each other it was like neither would go the extra mile to make the other look good. For some reason people think that you have to think the HBK vs Hart matches were great to be a true wrestling fan, all these unwritten internet rules that your supposed to abide by to be a "true smart fan" piss me off

So when do we get our 5-star HHH/Jericho match? I'll just take a match where Jericho gets a clean pinfall victory over Triple H...or just a pinfall...or just a victory.

Austin and the Rock never hated each other, so I don't know where you get off assuming that (other than from the characters they played on TV each week). I have to examine the bolded statement above. First off, HBK & Hart's WM 13 re-match was canceled due to HBK "losing his smile" (aka faking injury to avoid losing to Bret). They both agreed in 1996 Bret would put over HBK at WM 12 if HBK put over Hart at WM 13. Secondly, what 3 or 4 matches are you talking about between the two post-survivor series 1997? The original outcome to the Survivor Series '97 match was supposed to be Hart by DQ and that was (to the best of my knowledge) the last match between the two in order to allow a proper build-up to the proposed Hart-Austin WM 14 match. Maybe one more match at the Rumble was scheduled, but I don't recall such. On topic, yeah I definitely think immaturity behind the scenes needs to be address and eliminated.

Yeah, before they started working alot around WM15, Austina and Rock hated eachother They worked together a lot before then, they had a pretty decent IC title program. And yes, the Bret and Michaels rivalry lead to some of the best matches ever, but you know what else it lead to...

Their "hero" did it and it is fine and considered a sad moment in history. Got to love the irony
