I just talked to Petey and he fortunately will NOT need surgery. One good thing is, he told me he is being added to the video game and is going to be scanned while he is off. I wish him well in his recovery

Any idea how long he'll be out? It really sucks that it happens when he finally gets an X-division title run.

He will be out 6 weeks. Good thing is, he will be back for Sacrifice and he wasnt scheduled for the next PPV anyway. He is in LA today getting scanned.

If he is only out for 6 weeks then no doubt theycan still use him on TV just don't give him matches.

thats good to hear. and i dont think i would buy the tna game if petey wasnt in. ive been waiting to do the canadian destroyer in a video game forever.

I talked to Petey again today...he looks good, he has a bruise under his left eye and cannot smile completely but he was entertaining me with Steiner stories. Scott called him the other day to see how he was doing and when his surgery was and Petey told him, no surgery, but he can't do anything for 6 weeks. Scotty said, "I broke my orbital bone and wrestled on PPV 2 weeks later. I wore a mask... did the doctor say anything to you about a mask?" Petey says "No he didnt" Steiner says, "I will give you my mask...we both have the same hair, so it should fit you" Oh my god, lol.
We were crying at that story.
