is there any certain things that you should run if you have a LCD monitor? because on here, some pics and stuff are blurry, i've changed the resolution and what not, but some stuff is still a little blurry.
any help is appreciated.

My suggestion:
- Rightclick on your desktop, go to "settings." Make sure you have your "color quality" as high as it can go. Also make sure that your screen resolution is set to at least 1024x768. 800x600 is just too gigantic. - Make sure that you have a screensaver on when you leave your monitor for more than 30 minutes. If you leave it for longer than that, images can become 'burned' into the screen. Most 'burnt-in' images in LCD screens can be removed, but it's just something you don't want.
Also, what kind of LCD screen do you have? You might just have a poor screen...

Check the manual for that. Usually on a 17" 1280*960 or 1024. (LCD 17" are one inch bigger than CRT screens). Check the desktop properties in the display configuration. You may have an assistant in the graphic card properties to help you adjusting the screen light, contrast, color and so on.
