Hey Everyone~ I have a weird question... is it possible to take a screen cap off a video on Windows Media Player?
I mean, I hit PrintScreen and it doesn't work..... it won't take a cap of that image... it shows up as a transparent box.
So, is it possible, and if so, tell me how.... Thanks.

Wow, that's wild. I just assumed it was possible, but I tried just now and couldn't do it...

Open the video with Windows Movie Maker and hit the button that looks like a camera when you want the still. ~JCLS

I use SnagIt 7 for my capturing, regardless if the video player has that function (e.g., BSPlayer) as I have it configured to do my bidding.

Yes it is possible, you just need to go: Tools > Options Click the Performance tab. Click Advanced. Uncheck everything under Video Acceleration. Simple

I have a rip-off photoshop program that has screen capture mode. It'll capture screens of movies.

There is an actually way to take a screen shot with WMP without installing any kind of program. I remember doing it a few months ago when The Stewie Griffen movie was leaked.
