According to a new report by PWInsider, WWE wrestlers who underwent drug testing as part of the company's Wellness Policy this week were confronted with more rigorous testing conditions.
For those unaware, past tests saw wrestlers urinate into a vial at a urinal, but starting this past week male performers were required to provide a sample in full view of those representing Aegis Science (the firm that tests WWE's urine samples). Wrestlers, both male and female, were also required to drop their pants at least down to their knees and pull their shirts up above their nipples.
These new testing procedures were believed to be adapted to help prevent talent from taking advantage of the procedures by using cheating devices. The word making the rounds among WWE wrestlers was that an incident had sparked the more strict testing procedures, but no one is reportedly quite sure what that situation entailed or if was something that never happened to begin with.
Either way, the belief at this point is that at least one WWE developmental talent who has since been released by the company had been caught trying to cheat when giving a urine sample. However, considering nothing could be confirmed at this time it is simply being regarded as a "story making the rounds" among talent. Whether it was based on a fact or a rumor, it was serious enough to cause changes in the testing procedures for all talent.

The dropping of the pants and pulling up the shirt thing sounds really wrong--especially as far as the Divas are concerned. I think there are other ways to go about finding out if they're cheating. That is if any of this is true at all.

That sounds a little extreme.

That is if any of this is true at all. No one said they have to show the goods. I'm guessing it was to look for certain marks and what not, no one would have to uncover the privates to see them. Maybe bare ass but the front area would probably not have to be seen.

It's nothing new, actually. Most urinal drug tests require someone to be in clear view to see if you're cheating. Awkward - yes, but it's the best way to see what's happening.

As someone whose never taken a urine test that was part of my job, I ask in all seriousness, what if you can't make yourself pee?
I mean will they wait till you can? Will that be an automatic fail out of suspicion?

The thing people are forgetting is..... Males are in with males and females in with females. They aren't sending a dude to check a chick and a chick to check a dude. Come on common sense people.
If you don't have to pee. Then they give you water until you have to go. Watered down sample yes. But most substances show through those. And if they don't they will set them up for the next round.

I have seen people use "pee bags" and viles. Some people go as far (and I am sure 1/10th WWE guys) actually get their "blatter filled" before a drug test. If you know it is coming you can have someone do it.
And no I am not a drug user. I am an athlete that has seen people try everything to "get by".

Thanks to those who have experience in urination as a spectator sport. I just can't imagine much patience or tolerance if your job is to witness someone peeing and they say they can't go. Although I'm non-prescription drug, and substance drug free. This can be added to the list of why not to cross the line from WWE fan to WWE talent. I'd kill to be one of the female wrestler's testers. Piss fetish? I'm pretty sure that Mickie James wouldn't object, and the sad thing is, I'm no less attracted to her.

They do it because of issues with things like this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WhizzinatorOnterrio Smith got caught with one years back so now most professionals who are drug tested have to be watched while they submit it. It's not a big deal, these are medical professionals, I don't see the problem, I would do it. They also usually have same sex people conduct it for comforts sake. Not a big deal really.
