In all fairness, I really can't imagine putting the belt on any one person will make or break the ratings at this point. Plus it's not exactly like Angle was drawing 3.5 as champion or something.

I feel really bad for Joe because he really hasn't drawn any fans, in fact they seem to be losing fans after his win and that is really just a shame because wrestling promotions unfortunately base their ratings laregly on their champions. I can see them pulling him as champ very soon for a better known name such as Nash or Angle or even Booker T.

TNA's hardly advertising and expects to draw off its name alone. Seriously, do you see commericals on any other network talking about watching TNA Impact? I don't know if it'd make a difference but maybe it could help raise awareness.

Anyone ever think that maybe people like Joe as champion but when factoring in all the horrible crapon TNA, it's not worth tuning in...that's why I didn't watch this week.

TNA should've given Joe the title a long time ago. Now that he has it...people don't give a damn anymore because it's too late. To me, better late than never. Most fans don't feel that way, hence why the ratings are still low.

stuffs been stale and WWE has been pretty hot since after mania. TNA has tried some different things but it just isnt hitting...they need another show to spread things out a bit and devlop things more

I agree that they waited too long. Joe should have taken the belt off of Jarrett when he was at his most hated. Since that time TNA has consistently watered down Joe with too much talking, aligning himself with Nash, whining about his contract, and more ridiculous stuff.

TNA did this to themselves. I agree that the fans wante joe as NWA champ when jarrett had but noooooooo, we'll wait 5 years then give it to him and fans will go ballistic!!! WRONG!!! To little too late. Sucks for joe. No one cares anymore, back then TNA was respectable and different.

Agreed, Joe should have been champ ages ago, it just feels like its too late, like TNA finally gave into the fans but everyone knew Joe would win it, it feels like a lousy title run already since he wasn't as over as he was before, and personally for me im getting a bit sick of Joe aswell. |

I love how everyone here can be an armchair booker but if any of you were head bookers for TNA all of you would crumble.
Not one of you could make the ratings rise and you know it. Give TNA the time to get there craptogether and don't bitch about the shows because you can simply change the channel if you don't like whats on.
I don't like WWE...So you know what i do? I don't watch it or really follow it at all.
