whats up everyone I thought id post to show mine and others thoughts on what the wwe and the rest of the wrestling world will be like in 5 years.
I think that undertaker will be retired, but will have another role in the company edge may be still wrestling but in the position that undretaker is now I dont see Batista staying in the wwe in 10 years perhaps working in films. Cena I think will end up like the rock in films. I think that paul london and brian kendrick will be in tna in the main event. Paul burchall I have a funny feeling will be a maineventer, also cody rodes because i think about where orton was in 2002 and now where he is. I think that the women championship may belong to all brands where any diva can fight for it. I think wwe may set up wrestling camps all over the world to bring in new talent aswell.
Anyway theres my thoughts guys reply with your own

Yeah, the only things I can think of...
Triple H will have won another 5 WWE Titles to surpass Ric Flair... Just because I have a feeling that is what he is looking for right now...
CM Punk will be a Main Eventer alongside the likes of Edge, MVP, Matt Hardy and others... MVP, Matt Hardy and Punk will serve to fill the gap left by the departures of Taker and Batista...
On the RAW side of things... I can't actually see anything catastrophic changing... Cena will likely be still the WWE's biggest name, I think Jericho will be out of Wrestling again... Triple H is a wild card... I don't see him retiring in 5 years but I don't see him sticking around at the very top...
Alot of people will come and go... There are alot of people I would predict to leave in 5 years but a few of them I can see getting fired by the end of this year...
Jeff Hardy MIGHT be around in the WWE still however there is that reasonable doubt what with him hanging on the edge with his 3rd suspension being his last...
I feel the WWE might be looking to strengthen their Tag Team division so I anticipate the creation of new teams, the pushing of existing teams and the signing of outside teams...
I can see Ex-WWE wrestlers like Christian Cage, Booker T and others making a return to the WWE when their contracts run out... again, this would be to fill out the gaps left by other departing superstars...

Not much changes in 5 years, look at the product in 2003, and now look at it, just a few shuffles, the rosters are still fairly intact from what they were. No mass retirements, no mass hirings, and no mass moves up the card or down. Usually it works like one guy moving into the main event slowly but surely, they do it so it's more credibly then just taking some one who's midcarding and just putting him in the ME, it makes the talent look on an equal scale if you do it that way.

5 years from now is actually a long time in wrestling standards. First off, there will be several different newer debuts and things of that nature, so we don't even know what the roster will be in 5 years, that's the first thing I think that should be examined. I can't really predict what it will be like. We'll just see how things go. One thing I do see is that Kurt Angle will get pissed at how TNA is being run, because he will not have been champion for a while and then attempt to get his job back with the WWE. Booker T won't return, he will probably be retired, I can see him retiring within 2 years actually.

HHH and The Undertaker will still be holding the titles. Fixed. At least 1 is true, touch and go with Taker but i'm pretty sure he wants to make it "20'n0" so he will be around for a while longer aswell. True shame because there are plenty of people around who need to be exposed, pushed and take the torch right now. People who come to mind, Morrison, Burke, Punk, Benjamin, MVP, Kennedy. They should be in firm world title pictures in the future. Y2J="new HBK", i believe he will take HBK's position as the glorified jobber who will take a loss for the younger guys when it's called for, eventually.

Jeff Hardy will be released after a drug induced argument with a head writer. Triple H will have surpassed the 16 time world champion record of Ric Flair. CM Punk will be a 2 or 3 time WWE/WHC Champion. Kennedy will have suffered an injury that leaves him out for a significant amount of time. RVD will make a couple more guest spots. Cody Rhodes will be on his way an underdog champion on Smackdown. Rey Mysterio will get the long rumored draft to RAW. John Cena will have a shocking heel turn after turning on a legend in a tag match, aligning himself with someone like Orton or Edge. The Miz will hold the ECW championship before losing it a week later. Undertaker retires, but still appears as a legend every now and again. Ric Flair will appear as a legend, not to wrestle, but in backstage segments, or as special guest referee. Matt Hardy will win the World Heavyweight Championship, becoming the first Smackdown Grand Slam Champion.

Taker, HBK and Batista will be retired. HBK/Taker might have backstage type jobs with the company making occasional appearances.
HHH would have won the title like another 4 times. Edge will still be around, MVP, CM Punk, Carlito, MVP, Kennedy, Orton will have be in the main event picture.
Brock Lesnar will come back to WWE after his UFC stint fails

i just hope that wrestling gets better again, like it was in the monday night wars. exciting, unpredictable, fresh.
and if it doesn't, i just hope sometime in the near-future WWE releases full unedited WCW PPVs on DVD and full seasons of Nitro, Thunder, Raw and Smackdown too. so i can re-live ALL the glory (rather than just WWF PPVs) of the monday night wars whenever i want.
