no, as much as i miss the WWF days of one roster, after buying out wcw/ecw, they had way too many guys to have only one roster... and i think they probably could have only one roster, but, SO many guys would lose their current pushes and end up leaving at some point.
i do, however, think they should nix the new ECW(even though, it is sometimes the most entertaining hour of wwe for the week). many stars are stuck on a dead end road on ecw. they should keep the hour timeslot, however, and re-introduce HeAT to tv, and have it a cross-promotional show for RAW and SmackDown!, having actual matches that pertain to a storyline, rather than random 'Snitsky vs Venis' and/or 'Duggan vs Kendrick'
they should also make the Women's Championship a cross-promotional title.
but, to those who said yes to ending the brand-split, think about it...
you'd have:
WWE/World Title Contenders: Orton, HHH, HBK, JBL, Kane, Undertaker, Cena, Edge, Batista, Big Show, Khali(and guys like Punk, Y2J, Chavo, Umaga, Mysterio, Mark Henry, and Jeff Hardy who are semi-main eventers would be pushed down for sure)
IC/US Title Contenders: Y2J, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Mark Henry, Umaga, MVP, Kennedy, Chavo, Morrison, Miz, Burke, Kofi, Dreamer, Finlay, Holly, Cody Rhodes, Mysterio, Shelton, Carlito, Santino, Wang Yang, Moore, Boogeyman, Snitsky, Regal, Burchill, Palumbo, Dykstra, Striker, BDV, Knox(though they could end up having both titles, if they didnt, they're would be far too much competition, and with the current writing staff, people would not get pushed enough, and their current gimmicks would flop.)
the only division that would benefit, IMO, the tag team division:
Duece & Domino, Highlanders, Cryme Time, Rhodes & Holly, Morrison & Miz, Cade & Murdoch, Hardys, Dreamer & Delaney, Jesse & Festus, Ryder & Hawkins, Hooliganz
so, no i dont think they should completely ditch having brands, slightly change it, but keep raw/sd!
