Groundswell is just BS-ing with everyone. If they include Demento I want close to a 100 man roster. Include guys like Horowitz, SD Jones, Bastion Booger, Red Rooster, Max Moon etc ...and BattleKat, Skinner, Saba Simba, Mantaur, Gobbeldy Gooker - oh, we could go on all day.

I have an idea. . follow me on this one.
What if they have every wrestlemania card listed on the game. . . meaning you select a wrestlemania you want to play and then you select the match you want. It's concievable that you could select a match that includes wrestlers they don't have the rights to and the computer would say "Randy Savage is not available, would you like to create Randy Savage?"
I mean, it's just like listing results in a retrospective magazine, there is nothing wrong with them listing al matches that happened at WM.

Will Undertaker be on here? He technically is a legend.

Will Undertaker be on here? He technically is a legend. Yup. Don't know which one though? You can see people in the crowd wearing Taker shirts in some of the screen shots. Virgil is now on the list.

Will Undertaker be on here? He technically is a legend. It's Legends of Wrestlemania. If the Undertaker isn't in the game...

At the Leipzig games convention, THQ recently confirmed that former WWE superstar Damian Demento will be included in THQ's Legends of Wrestlemania project which should be released early 2009.

Just saw the trailer and shat myself. Looks awesome. The cool thing is that even with "40" superstars, female wrestlers weren't really prominent so hopefully we don't have to worry about them wasting character slots. I'd like to see faces: Hogan Warrior Jake the Snake Roberts Jimmy Snuka Randy Savage - yeah right Ricky Steamboat Bret Hart Hillbilly Jim Brutus the Barber Beefcake Hawk Animal Marty Janetty Shawn Michaels - Rockers obviously Davey Boy Smith Dynamite Kid Hacksaw (the guy was a staple in the 80s/early 90s) Koko B. Ware (we need a token black guy) Sgt Slaughter Hercules Tito Santana Heels: Ric Flair Ted Dibiase Andre the Giant Honky Tonk Man Big Bossman Akeem/OMG Bad News Brown Greg Valentine Ax Smash Crush King Haku Mr. Perfect Rick Rude Earthquake King Kong Bundy Nikoli Volkolf the Iron Sheik Rowdy Roddy Piper Yokozuna perfect roster

I wonder what the rules are for including attire that is almost EXACTLY like those of unsigned superstars? That's a fan- ing-tastic idea.....It would be soooo cool if that's actually how the game was...

There's info on the game at this link : www.spam.com/games/news/84336 It says that there will be a roster of 40 which I know was always the case but with managers included in that count. To me that limits the roster even further & is disappointing. It also says the roster will be 80's and 90's which I also know was always the case but it still doesn't verify if that is early 90's or if it includes all the 90's. Lets be honest if it's 35 wrestlers & 5 managers that is definitely not enough to cover WM1(1985)-WM15(1999).!!

^^I saw that early. The guy who wrote that used information already available and made it seem like THQ gave him some info that hasn't been known. It's been stated that they are focusing on the golden era of wrestling, which is 80's and very early 90's. I don't think we will get some new info until around the time of Smackdown release date. I don't think they want to take away from the focus of Smackdown and vice versa with Legends.

I hate that article, it's not news, it's info already on the game's website. It's even worse that the author claimed to talk to someone at THQ.

yeah screw you Vince! Screw you and your 'not wanting to get sued' attitude! Also....who actually thought Savage had a good chance at making it in? I call B.S. but people will believe it because Foley won't be in(makes sense, it's based in the 80's-early 90's), and Savage won't be in(makes sense, him and Vince don't get along). And I bet we'll never know those 'other names' because there are no 'other names'.

The Foley situation is weird. Yes, he is now in TNA but so is Nash and he has been on excellent terms with WWE for years. It all comes down to whether if WWE allows Foley to be in the game.
