God, I hope they drop the Rounds after this one... From Joystiq: It's been two years since the last Fight Night game was released, which is practically eons in the annualized sports game world. But EA announced this afternoon that fans need wait no longer as Fight Night will return for "Round 4" at some point next year on Xbox 360 and PS3. There are few details at this point, other than what you'd expect (new gameplay engine, new physics, etc.). Perhaps most exciting is that Mike Tyson will appear in the game, more than a decade after both his last video game appearance and his last brush with relevance.
I don't really give a damn about Tyson, but as long as it's as fun to beat the crapof a midget as a 7 foot tall monster as it was in Fight Night Round 3, you can sign me up. |

Isn't EA Canada just called EA Vancouver? Or am i missing something.
Anyway, it'll probably just be a rental with me, ive only played the Round 3 demo on ps2 and thought it was an OK game.

Remember, when fighting Mike Tyson, dodge all his punches in the first 90 seconds of the first round. He blinks before go after his huge punch.

I have always wanted Tyson to be in the game. Why not throw in Rocky Balboa to? As an ulockable character. I always though he was what was missing in the other games. ANd hopefully they make him from when he was in his prime. He was so quick and so powerfull. I can finally have Tyson vs. Ali.

Hopefully they get some bigger name current boxers than last time. Actually I think the only one that is really apparent would be Floyd Mayweather. Either way I'll enjoy beating up those generic eight feet tall albino, cornrow wearing monsters they throw at you with the baddest motha  a on the planet. |

Playing as Little Mac in Fight Night Round 2 is one of my favorite recent gaming memories. I'm all for out there bonus characters in games as long as they aren't part of a normal roster and fit with the theme of the sport. Unless it's NBA Jam, where you can slamma-jamma as Willy Clinton.
