-- PTINews.com out of India has an interview with The Great Khali. Regarding WWE matches, he said, "Everything whatever you see out there is real." Khali also added, "Sometimes wrestlers receive serious injuries, and even die in the ring. There is no way of manipulation by the media." you can't really put too much into that statement since it was an interview in india. things work differently over there, i mean i don't know that for a fact or have any examples, but c'mon it's india....from what i've read he's like a national hero over there so he can't really give away all the kayfabe stuff that we take for granted here.

Most fans in India and Asia do believe the WWE is real. I remember Mogan Spurlock was on Conan a few weeks ago and said that he talked to people in India about the WWE while he was filming a documentary and he said they take wrestling extremely seriously there. With that being said, Khali is just telling people in his country what they want to hear. I think he's terrible at what he does, too, but let's not get all over him for EVERYTHING.

well they practice the most extreme "real" wrestling in India so I expect they refuse to believe WWE is predetermined.

Well, people in india still think its real, so it might of been why he said it anyway now I think about it.

No, you say that because he speaks broken English. English is one of the hardest languages to learn, let's see you go learn some difficult language and not sound like an idiot. I've taken 6 years of spanish through out my education, I still speak like a spanish toddler who's behind the curve. |
