Can someone post what the finish of Nigel VS Claudio was? Nigel def. Aries via submission, Nigel made Aries submit after a London Dungeon. I guess Claudio had Nigel in a 30 second "Giant swing" at one point. Also I read that the crowd was dead for the main event, and the finish for Morishima/Necro was awful. |

Some people say Shima/Necro was awful others say it was what you would expect from the two. Seems like a big difference of opinions if you ask me.

I can confirm that Morishima/Necro was disappointing but I said that it would be over and over again. No one would listen!
Anyways, great show. A few things could of been a little better but every match was still very good(other than the Necro match) and there was no filler. Every single match was good though. Claudio/Nigel was probably match of the night because of the false finishes, though after all that I felt the finish was a little weak. Not the move itself(London Dungeon) but the fact that Claudio tapped two seconds after being in the move.
Danielson/Marufuji definitely could of been better but I think they didn't go all out because where they were placed on the card. Still a very good match though.
As far as the crowd, I thought they were great during the first three matches but when people started getting drunk they did things to get themselves over and made a bunch of stupid chants even chanting "boring" during the opening minutes of the match.

Seems to me that the problem with the Necro/Morishima match is people thought it would be another Joe/Necro match. People had to realize that it was not going to be that. I'm not sure what is really disappointing about Necro punching Morishima in the face and Morishima dropping Necro on his head. I guess people didn't have reasonable expectations. I will still check it out though.

Eh, nothing too memorable here. Some dude in my section got piss drunk and threw up everywhere. The crowd sucked, they were so quiet for most of the night, except when someone would try to cut a promo, theyd like erupt and then you'd have no idea what was going on. Uh, the steenerico match was really good, the rest I probably wont remember by the time I wake up...

"po-ke-mon" "we-want-ash" and "catch-them-all" although those were pretty dumb...i will admit to laughing at their "bul-ba-saur" (not sure if i spelled that right) chant EDIT: by the way...how come no one is talknig about that powerbomb Albright gave to Hagadorn to the outside and through the table...from where i was sitting it looked like he broke his neck...and i really thought he may have been legit. injured... That photo looks great, I'm glad there was a big turnout. I know NYC is a big draw for them, but I think they should start running there a lot less based on attendance tonight. Run there less often & plan a bigger show. I lot of people came from all over for tonights show, & that doesnt happen with other NYC shows.
The only shocker IMO tonight was AOTF not taking the belts. I didnt think the make shift tag team of Jay/Aries was going to last.
Nigel/Claudio didnt shock me at all. If Claudio is taking the belt, it won't be in the first meeting. Anyways, I said if Albright won the 4 way last night, he was going to be next in line for a title fued. I think that after Hero/Albright & Nigel/Claudio goes on for a while, we are going to see Albright/Nigel in a title fued.

He was running around after Generico and Steen won. |

I'll admit I did laugh once, but it got incredibly annoying throughout the night. Some group of little kids behind me kept chanting "CZW", "We Want Adamle" and other bullshit. Just ing ridiculous... |

I was at this show. Overall I felt it was pretty MEH. Only liked the end of the tag title match and the Dragon-Marafuji.
The rest was all lackluster.

I have fully updated the ROH Livejournal community info page and from the feedback from somewhere who was at the show stated that the Marifuji/Danielson match was actually quite good, maybe not MoTY but still decent.

Does anyone know when tickets might go on sale for the 8/2 show?
Some of my friends want to fly up there for the show as a birthday present for me and I want to make sure we get good tickets, or at least have tickets period.
