Impact sounded pretty good, man. Weird that the opener turned out to not be as good as it should of been. Would of thought the womens tag match would of had better quality. Nice singles match. Alright, push RNR conection. The main event was good.

TNA Slammiversary June 8, 2008The opening video plays showing clips of past TNA events. After the video, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome all the fans to Memphis, Tennessee for TNA Slammiversary. Mike Tenay goes on after the welcome going over tonight’s card. We get straight to Knockout action. Roxxi Laveaux & ODB def. the Beautiful PeopleThis was not a good opener at all. The match started solid and going back and forth. The two teams were communicating fine until the momentum went to Roxxi and ODB. From then on, the match was a complete train wreck. It was a complete domination. However, on the other hand, the match was quick. ODB would pick up the win for herself and Roxxi when she hit Angelina Love with the Running Powerslam. Rating: D- After the match, we go backstage where Crystal Louthan is standing with the X Division Champion, Petey Williams. She says, “Petey, your match with Kaz is coming up next. You are facing one of the top rising stars in TNA. What is your game plan?” Petey Williams replies with, “Well, it is simple Crystal. My game plan is to go out there, give Kaz hell, and take the belt home.” Kaz def. Petey Williams via DQThis was a brilliant match up. The entire match was back and forth and neither wrestler wanted to give up. The fans saw a ton of highflying maneuvers and even some technical wrestling. You could clearly tell the fans were enjoying this match from start to finish. However, knowing that Kaz would not give up, Petey Williams grabbed a chair and began the assault on Kaz. The ref signaled for the bell. However, Petey did not stop the attack, instead he continued until Kaz was a bloody mess. Once Kaz was bloody, Petey grabbed the belt and ran off. Rating: B+ The camera goes backstage where Jay Lethal is putting on his jacket that is part of his tuxedo. It looks like the wedding of SoCal Val and Jay Lethal is next. The camera goes back out to the main arena where the ring a priest is standing at a podium in the decorated ring. Finally, SoCal Val and Jay Lethal make their way to the ring. The priest goes over the usual wedding ritual and then finally says, “Does anybody object or forever hold their peace.” There was silence for a second until Sonjay Dutt’s theme music begins. Jay Lethal and SoCal Val look at the entrance stage in shock. Soon, Dutt comes out to the stage with a microphone in hand. Dutt talks about the marriage for a little bit and then cuts to the chase. Sonjay Dutt proceeds to say, “Lethal, I think there is a secret you need to know about Val. She is secretly cheating on you.” At this point, Lethal looks over at SoCal Val with a shocked and mad look on his face. Soon, tears went down his face. Lethal soon ran away when SoCal Val in the ring screaming, “It’s all a lie, Lethal. I have never cheated on you!” Sonjay Dutt later came down to the ring when Lethal reached the stage. Dutt wrapped his hand around Val and said, “The person she was cheating on you was me!” The crowd went crazy as Lethal began to tear up even more and shaking his head. Val screamed, “It’s not true, don’t listen to him, Lethal come back!” After hearing the screams of Val, Lethal walked backstage. Awesome Kong def. Gail KimThis was a decent match. Awesome Kong, to no surprise, seemed to dominate the match but Kim did get a good amount of offensive maneuvers in there. Raesha Saeed was at ringside and interfered in the match a few times, which gave Kong more of an advantage. The entire match ran smoothly with very little botches and it kept interest with the fans. Awesome Kong would end up retaining her championship when she hit Gail Kim with the Awesome Bomb. After the match, Raesha Saeed came into the ring with the belt and celebrated with Kong. However, Raesha Saeed soon kicked Kong in the stomach. Saeed proceeded to take her robe off and it turned out to be Cheerleader Melissa. Awesome Kong was surprised and shocked and soon Melissa began the assault. After the assault, she made a motion for the belt and walked off. Rating: C- Soon after the match, “Father” James Mitchell walks into the ring with a microphone and Rellik at his side. Once settled in the ring, James Mitchell cuts to the chase and calls out Abyss. Shortly after, Abyss’s theme music plays throughout the arena. However, there is no sign of Abyss yet. Then, from the crowd, comes Abyss! Rellik turns around and meets Abyss. Abyss executes the Black Hole Slam. James Mitchell walks over to Abyss and begins to talk to him. However, Abyss ignores his words and grabs Mitchell’s neck, and begins to choke him. However, Abyss was taken away after security stopped Abyss from doing any further damage to Mitchell. LAX def. Motor City Machine GunsWhat a great match. The entire match was full of highflying maneuvers from all of the wrestlers including Hernandez. The fans were very pleased with the match and were on their feet the entire time. There was a lot near falls but neither team wanted to give up. Because of this, the match went on for about 10-15 minutes. However, since the match began with a fast pace, all of the wrestlers grew tired. However, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley seemed to be tired more than Homicide and Hernandez and that soon led to their downfall. LAX would end up keeping their titles when Hernandez hit the Border Toss on Chris Sabin. Rating: A- We go backstage where Jeremy Borash is standing with Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash. Jeremy Borash tells Joe that the King of the Mountain match is up next and asks him if he is afraid of all the competition in this match. Samoa Joe replies with, “Actually, Jeremy, I am not. I am not because everyone I have gone through to get this title has had no chance and I believe the same with these competitors.” Jeremy Borash then adds, “Anyways, what is your game plan for tonight?” Samoa Joe replies once again with, “My game plan? Well, it is simple. I am just going to go out there and win, keep my title. That is all. Samoa Joe def. James Storm, Christian Cage, AJ Styles, and StingThis was an ok main event but it should have been better. All of the wrestlers in this match are very talented but you really only saw about 75% of their potential. AJ Styles, James Storm, and Samoa Joe were involved in the match from start to finish as they were in every big move. However, unlike them three, Christian Cage and Sting seemed to be out of the match. There were some narrow escapes through out the match such as when Sting had the belt in his hands and almost had it on the hook but out of nowhere, Jeff Jarrett ran into the ring and attacked Sting. The arena went nuts as Jeff Jarrett dragged Sting to the back. Anyways, the entire match flowed smoothly with surprisingly not that many botches. Nevertheless, Samoa Joe would up keeping the TNA World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. After the match, however, AJ Styles attacked Samoa Joe from behind. Rating: B-

A good show STL. I think you do best on TNA diaries over anything else tbh. Main Event looked really good but then again kinda too clustered. LAX/MCMG = Awesome. Kinda disapointed Joe won. I don't like his title reign. I really would have liked to see AJ win but that would have been too fast I guess.

Slamerversary was allright but nothing too special that made the PPV lack the Slamerversary feel. Wish you bit more original than Sonjay turnign in Sonjay and Jeff Jarrett making his return, Although the X cup makes it all better, best part of tna, loving that Teddy Hart and Minoru are in. And the TNA news is good I would love to see some ROH talent in TNA. Reply to Me and Mac's WWE

I actually agree, Slammiversity was good but it didn't have that wow factor. Samoa Joe keeping the title is good, would of marked out if James Storm won though. Kong keeping hold of the title is a plus. LAX vs MCMG and Kaz vs Williams are both godly matches and I was happy with the results.

TNA Impact June 12, 2008Before the main show, a video recapping the event of Sunday’s Slammiversary airs. After the video, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome the TNA fans to the Impact Zone for another edition of TNA Impact. They go over a few things from Slammiversary including the King of the Mountain. When they stopped talking, AJ Styles’ theme music plays through out the Impact Zone. When AJ Styles gets to the ring, he grabs the microphone from the announcer’s hand. He proceeds to talk about the King of the Mountain match at this past Sunday’s Slammiversary. After the recap, AJ Styles says that he is the one most deserving of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. After he said this, Christian Cage’s theme music hits. Cage makes his way toward the ring with a microphone in hand. He starts to tell Styles that he deserves the title shot but Jim Cornette’s theme music stops him. Both AJ Styles and Christian Cage sigh as Jim Cornette comes out with his usual tomato face. He says, “Please stop your bickering, guys. I have had with you two arguing over who deserves the title shot. Therefore, tonight, the main event will be you two in a regular, pin fall match up. The winner will get the title shot at Victory Road in Houston.” Jim Cornette begins to walk backstage as Styles and Cage look at each other nodding their heads. Motor City Machine Guns def. Rock N’ Rave InfectionTo my surprise, this match was a little disappointing. There seemed to be a lot of miss-communication, which is a surprise between these two teams. Motor City Machine Guns dominated most of the match but the Rock N’ Rave Infection, which was mostly Lance Hoyt in the ring, just gained momentum at random times. They would be getting their ass pounded in the ground when out of nowhere they turn the tides. Anyways, even with the countless number of random momentum swings, Jimmy Rave of the Rock N’ Rave Infection would fall victim to Chris Sabin’s Cradle Shock. Rating: C- After the quick commercial break, Impact came back on the air to find Jay Lethal backstage, with his head down, next to Crystal Louthan. Crystal Louthan asks, “We all saw what happened to you at Slammiversary. Do you have anything to say to So Cal Val and Sonjay Dutt?” Jay Lethal replies with, “Oh, the pain. Val, I thought we had something. I thought we loved each other. Well, apparently I thought wrong. Then, Sonjay Dutt, we were like brothers. Then, you betray me and go with my EX-fiancé. I hope you two have a great time together, because Val sure did have fun with me.” Cheerleader Melissa def. JacquelineThis match was horrid to watch. These two have no chemistry what so ever with each other. Cheerleader Melissa dominated the match, start to finish, only allowing about three offensive moves from Jacqueline. Anyways, the match was quick and ended when Melissa hit the Kudo Driver. After the match, Melissa grabbed a microphone and began talking. She soon called out Awesome Kong. However, there was no answer. Melissa then told Kong on the microphone that she has until next week to answer this, “I challenge you to a match at Victory Road for the belt.” Rating: D- When Impact came back on the air from a commercial break, Mike Tenay was standing in the middle of the ring with a piece of paper and a microphone. He tells the fans that it is time for the Parade of Nations for the World X Cup. He introduced Team United States, which consisted of Kaz, Motor City Machine Guns, and Shark Boy. After that, he introduced Team Canada, which is Petey Williams, Eric Young, Tyson Dux, and Teddy Hart. After that, he introduced Team Mexico, which is Juventud Guerrera, Nacho El Millionario, Abismo Negro, and Halloween. Finally, he introduced Team Japan, which is Curry Man, Tiger Mask IV, Minoru, and Milano Collection AT. After the introductions, Mike Tenay explained how the World X Cup is going to work. After that, he told everyone the X Cup would begin next week on Impact. Consequences Creed def. DeliriousAwesome match, almost match of the night. The entire match was full of highflying action and fast paced, aggressive wrestling. It went back and forth for the most part but it seemed that Delirious became tired and slowed down. Creed would take control of the match from the on. Another thing the match had a lot of was near falls. This match could have gone either way but Delirious just gave up in the end. Creed would end up the winner when he hit Delirious with the Creed-D-T. Rating: B+ After the match, Jim Cornette came out from backstage. Creed had a nervous look on his face as he was thinking he was in trouble. However, Cornette was only our there to announce that at Victory Road, there will be a 15-man X Division Gauntlet and the winner will receive a X Division title shot later that night at Victory Road. Creed laughed and shook his head. A graphic came on the screen that said in text, “Next Week: Hear from Sting and Jeff Jarrett about Jarrett’s vicious attack at Slammiversary.” Abyss def. Shark BoyThis match was nothing but a squash. Shark Boy just ran in and Abyss took his anger out. He would end up hitting the Black Hole Slam on Shark Boy but that would not get him the win. Instead, Abyss got the win from disqualification when James Mitchell and Rellik walked into the ring and began the attack. Rating: NA Rellik continued the assault on Abyss but stopped when James Mitchell got on the microphone. Mitchell started to talk about Abyss. Finally, he just came out and said, “You and Rellik have a No Hold Barred match at Victory Road. You do not have to accept because Jim Cornette already approves it. Rellik and James Mitchell left the ring leaving a motionless Abyss on the ring canvas. AJ Styles def. Christian CageHoly Hell, this was an amazing match. The entire match was back and forth with no real leader. AJ Styles displayed many highflying moves that I have not seen from him in a while. While Styles was doing that, Christian was showing off his amazing charisma. The crowd was on their edge of their seats the entire, not knowing who to cheer for and who will win. The match lasted at least 18 minutes, maybe even 20, either way they gave them just enough time to put on an excellent match. AJ Styles would end up victorious when he hit Christian with the Styles Clash. After the victory, Styles extended his hand towards Christian. Christian decided to be a good sport and shake hands. Rating: A-

iMPACT! Was darn good, STL. The opener I would of thought of been a decent match, but that was not to be. Meh womens match. Great match with Delirious. Push him. Abyss push... The main event rocked.

I always enjoy MCMG/RNRI for some reason, but I don't know why. It's strange that Melissa/Jacqueline would be horrid to watch, as they are both good workers. EWR is stupid sometimes. You using Creed = AJ/Joe will be good, although I pray you don't give Melissa the Knockout title at Victory Road as it would just kill Kong's momentum. Drop a reply to TNA 2005?

TNA Impact June 19, 2008Before the show, a TNA Cross the Line promotional video plays. After the video, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome all the fans to another edition of TNA Impact from the Impact Zone. They go over what will happen tonight including the World X Cup first round and the first confrontation between Jeff Jarrett and Sting since Slammiversary. Mike Tenay talks about what happened last week until Sting’s theme song hits. Sting comes out with a bat and microphone in hand. He proceeds to walk to the ring. When he gets to the ring, he lifts up the microphone and says, “Jarrett, I want you to come out here and explain about why you interfered in the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary.” Jarrett’s theme music begins in the Impact Zone and out he comes. When he gets to the ring, he grabs the microphone from Sting’s hands and says, “You want me to explain? Ok, well, there is really only one reason. You and me have unfinished business. You see, we never ended our rivalry. So, what do you say, one last time at victory Road?” Sting thinks and then snatches the microphone out of Jarrett’s hands, “You know what, I think that would be a great….” Jarrett stops Sting as he grabs the microphone from his hands, “However, it won’t be an ordinary match, and the loser must retire!” Sting looks at Jarrett in shock and then says, “It’s on!” When Don West heard Sting except, he nearly pooped in his pants. Awesome Kong def. JacquelineOnce again, Jacqueline loses in a giant squash. However, this time it was even worst. Kong dominated the entire time allowing little to none moves. The match lasted almost four minutes maybe more but it was horrible. The crowd was unhappy too as they even started chanting “Fire Russo.” Anyways, Kong would end up winning with the Awesome Bomb. However, the action was not over yet as Kong continued the assault on Jacqueline until Cheerleader Melissa came out for the save. Kong and Melissa stared down each other until Impact went off for a commercial break. Rating: N/A Impact comes back on with Mike Tenay standing in the ring with a clipboard and microphone in hand. He announces to the fans that tonight the first round of the World X Cup will begin. The first match will be Team Japan’s Milano Collection AT vs. Team Canada’s Teddy Hart. World X Cup: Milano Collection AT def. Teddy HartWhat a great match, to say the least. These two had the most chemistry I have seen in a long time. Most of the match was not highflying but rather technical wrestling. However, there was some highflying thrown in occasionally. Anyways, the crowd enjoyed the pure wrestling but they exploded when they showed off their aerial skills. The match went back and forth for the most part but Milano Collection AT turned the tides about ¾ ways into the match. He would end up picking up the win for Team Japan when he hit the Victoria Milanese. Rating: B+ After the match, Mike Tenay announces the next match will be Team Mexico’s Abismo Negro vs. Team United State’s Shark Boy. World X Cup: Abismo Negro def. Shark BoyNot as good as the match before, but it was still a fan favorite. Negro dominated for the most part but there were a few points in the match where Shark Boy was a step ahead. Unlike the last match with the technical style, these two did straight out lucha libre style. Overall, this match was fine and the crowd would agree because they were into this match but not as much as the last one. Abismo Negro would end up picking up the win for Team Mexico when he hit Shark Boy with the Martinete. Rating: C Before the next match, Mike Tenay announced that it would be Team Mexico’s Nicho El Millionario vs. Team Japan’s Minoru. World X Cup: Minoru def. Nicho El MillionarioYet, another great World X Cup match. The combination of puro and lucha can really put on a great match. These two had a lot of chemistry, which made the match awesome. Another ting that made the two wrestlers take more risks was the fan support; they just would not stop cheering so the two had to do more aerial moves to please them. However, this match was cut short due to a botch on Nicho El Millionario that injured his shoulder, more news on that should be coming out shortly. Minoru would end up picking up another win for Team Japan when he hit the HEAT Clutch. Rating: B- After the match, Mike Tenay announced the final match of the first round is next, which will be Team Canada’s Tyson Dux vs. Team United State’s Kaz World X Cup: Kaz def. Tyson DuxThis was probably the third best match of the night, behind the one before and the second match. These two had chemistry but they did not really know how to use it. Because of that, there was miss-communication and a good number of botches. However, the two made up for that with the many aerial maneuvers that entertained the fans. Overall, this match was fine but it should have been better, much better. This could have been match of the night, but they screwed up a little too much. Kaz would win when he hit the Flux Capacitator. Rating: C+ After the last match of the first round, Mike Tenay announces the standings. 1. Team Japan (2) 2. Team Mexico (1) 3. Team United States (1) 4. Team Canada (0) Next week on Impact will be the Second Round of the World X Cup. Impact comes back on the air with Booker T storming into Jim Cornette’s office screaming his head off. Cornette with a red face asks, “What the hell is wrong with you?” Booker T replies with, “It just isn’t fair, Styles doesn’t deserve that title shot, he isn’t in Joe’s caliber.” Cornette says, “Who are you to judge Joe’s caliber?” Booker T replies with, “Just give me one more shot Cornette, one more!” Cornette replies, “Ok, you have your last chance. It is tonight’s main event, you are facing the tag team champions LAX in a handicap street fight!” Booker T says, “Say what!” Cornette says, “If you want a shot at the title at Victory Road then you must participate in this match.” Booker T stutters for a second and then walks off. Street Fight: Booker T def. LAXThis was a decent match but it was a little quick for a main event. LAX made their entrances first and Booker T did a sneak attack on them to get somewhat of an advantage. The fight went backstage for a little bit then into the crowd then back to the ring. Surprisingly, Booker T dominated most of the match even though he was out numbered. He would end up winning and getting the title shot at Victory Road when he hit the Bookend on Homicide. After the match, Booker T signaled the belt around his waist. Rating: C+

Loving the Whole X-Cup esp Minoru winning, Sharkboy on Team America couldn't you have picked something else? Think you over went a bit too much on the matches maybe put it over 2 PPV's not 1 seems too rushed. Sting/Jarrett feud is what everone does! liking the 15 man gauntlet into the X title match should be good, but why should Petey defend the title and be in the final (cough Canada not gonna be in the final) Don't like LAX looking very week getting beaten by Booker esp when Booker sucks as much as he does, All seems fine though. TNA Impact June 26, 2008Before the main show, a TNA Cross the Line promotional video plays. After the video, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome the fans to the Impact Zone for this week’s edition of TNA Impact. They go over what happened last week and then they talk about tonights rundown which includes the World X Cup second round, Team 3D vs. Rock N’ Rave Infection, and much more. Finally, we get straight into action. Cheerleader Melissa def. Gail KimThis was a good away to open the show, especially when both of these women can actually wrestle. For the most part, the match was back and forth action. However, Melissa got a surge of momentum at about the eight-minute mark and she dominated from there to the end. The crowd was into most of the match but when Melissa started to dominate, they lost interest in the match. During Melissa’s domination, Awesome Kong came down to ring side. She distracted Melissa for a little bit, almost costing her the match, but finally Kong jumped into the ring and attacked Melissa. The ref called for the bell for disqualification. The two brawled for a little bit until a few more refs broke them up. Rating: C+ After the quick commercial break, Crystal Louthan is standing backstage with Sting. Crystal asks Sting why he accepted the match against Jarrett at Victory Road when he knows if he loses, he must retire. Sting replies saying, “There comes a time where every man grows old and must rest, the time for me has come. However, even if I win, I might have to put up my boots.” Sting walks off after those words. The camera goes around the Impact Zone, showing random shots of the crowd. Finally, it settles on the ring where Mike Tenay is standing in the middle with a microphone. He tells the fans that it is time for the second round of the World X Cup. He goes over how the second round works. The matches are tag team and the winners will receive two points. The first match will be Team Japan's Curry Man & Tiger Mask IV vs. Team United State's Motor City Machine Guns. World X Cup: Curry Man/Tiger Mask IV def. Motor City Machine GunsWow, this was definitely the match of the night. The entire match was back and forth action with highflying and chain wrestling in every corner. In fact, the match was mostly fast pace action with some slow parts for chaining. Anyways, the crowd was really into this match as they were cheering both teams on and standing up for most of the time, the atmosphere was crazy. The chemistry these two teams had together was just amazing, there were absolutely no botches, and only small miss-communication. Overall, this was a near perfect match. Tiger Mask would pick up the win and two points for Team Japan when he hit the Tiger Suplex. After the match, all of the wrestlers shook hands, raised each other’s arm, it was a great sight. Rating: B+ After the match, Mike Tenay gets back in the ring again to announce the next second round match or the World X Cup. It will be Team Canada's Petey Williams & Eric Young vs. Team Mexico's Halloween & Juventud Guerrera; we get straight to the action. World X Cup: Petey Williams/Eric Young def. Halloween/Juventud GuerreraYes, this was yet another good World X Cup match, but not as good as the others. For the most part, this match was solid but a few botches brought the quality down a little. Most of the botches happened when Halloween and Eric Young were in; they just did not have enough chemistry. Throughout the match, you could clearly tell Petey stole the show. He did most of the big moves and spots. Anyways, most of the match was Team Canada a step ahead but a few times, Team Mexico was dominating. Overall, this was a halfway decent match up but it could and should have been better. Petey Williams would get the first points for Team Canada when he hit Juventud with the Canadian Destroyer. Rating: B- Mike Tenay closed off the second round with announcing the current standings. Team Japan (4) Team Canada (2) Team Mexico (1) Team United States (1) Next week on Impact, you will see the third round with six-man tag team action. After all of the World X Cup stuff, Team 3D walks into Jim Cornette’s office. They tell Cornette that they deserve a tag title shot now. Cornette responds to them saying that in their match tonight, the winner will receive a title shot at Victory Road against LAX. Team 3D looks at Cornette say “That’s fair.” They then proceed to walk off. Team 3D def. Rock N’ Rave InfectionThis was a decent match but to the other good matches so far, this match looked terrible. Team 3D dominated for most of the match but it was not necessarily a squash. Rock N’ Rave Infection had a good amount of offensive moves but none of them could get the job done. Because of this, Team 3D clearly had the match won. Anyways, the crowd did not seem to be behind a certain team. However, for the most part, they were behind the Rock N; Rave Infection. Overall, this match was ok but it still was not great. Team 3D would get the win when they hit Jimmy Rave with the 3D. Rating: D+ When Impact comes back on the air, Mike Tenay announces that tonight’s main event will be Samoa Joe and one of his opponents at Victory Road, AJ Styles taking on Booker T and a mystery partner. After the announcement, the camera shot goes backstage where Booker T is standing with Jeremy Borash. Jeremy Borash asks Booker T if he can have any hints on his mystery partner and Booker tells Borash that he wants the gold. After that, Booker says, its real, its damn real. Booker T & Kurt Angle def. Samoa Joe & AJ StylesThis match was much better than last week’s main event. For the most part, Booker T and Kurt Angle dominated. However, Joe and Styles were sometimes a step ahead. Anyways, the crowd was solely behind Joe and Styles the entire match, making it a perfect time for Styles’ face turn. In fact, that is what he did. Throughout the match, when Samoa Joe was out in the ring, AJ Styles was getting the fans to cheer and stuff like that. However, even with the crowd behind them, they would end up losing when Samoa Joe was yet another victim to Angle’s Ankle Lock. After the match, Jim Cornette rushed out to the ring to announce that Angle will be in the main event at Victory Road. The crowd went nuts as Angle looked at Joe’s title. Rating: B

Don't like you spoilling the ending of the X Cup whether that is true or faulse I find it abit spoiler-ish, nice to see the Knockouts getting time and a damn good match, dting promo was realistic, don't like how halfway though the night it suddenly goes to World Cup time spread ou the matches, awsome match wish that was on TV as that would rule, second World match also sounded good but couldn't that go first? Jap leading is great but wish you had this going longer, hope Hart signs after this, Team 3D going for the titles are meh but with MCMG in the cup they are the best contenders, nice main event and hope Joe retains, keep it up, reply to RSW
