Ultimate Warrior said on recent radio show that he wasn't happy with Batista stealing his shaking the ropes gimmick, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Batista noted in his book that copied the mannerism from Warrior. Warrior also said that if Batista ever saw him, his "tattoo would jump off his back." Warrior was also on a Dallas area radio show with a gay host, and he claimed that he was misquoted regarding his past statements on homosexuals.I really feel for Warrior here. I know how easily you can be misquoted you're your gay bashing bullcrapis being video taped.  The CW Network will be replacing Smackdown with a comedy block and repeats of America's Next Top Model once the show moves to MyNetworkTV. They dropped SmackDown for reruns of a crappy reality show and either reruns of old sitcoms, or new, terrible sitcoms? Sounds to me like a CEO has unemployment in their future....

How can you be misquoted when an entire hour and a half of it is on tape and you've written on the subject multiple times? Ah, misquoted in the sense that's he's trying to make money in the mainstream again, so now he must rephrase his views...

Warrior is intellectually- disabled, I'm sure that Batista does the rope shake because he idolized Warrior.
Now Warrior should be mad that Sonjay Dutt does the rope shake as it doesn't look believable when he does it, seems more like it's forced.

With regards to gay people Warrior said "queering don't make the world work" which is true and he also said he hates the way they flaunt their sexuality which is also true. He never once said he hates all gay people, but let everyone carry on berating him for something he never said lol.
As for Batista. Well i wouldn't be happy with him stealing one of my trademarks either. No one shakes the ropes other than Warrior and Batista should of known this.

You're right he just generalized an entire set of the population, and allow me to point out that "what makes the world work" is quite a subjective idea. If you're gay you most likely won't reproduce, but I don't think that doesn't make things not work. There are plenty of terrible parents out there and plenty of great gay adoptive parents, the world might not be as cut and dry as Warrior believes. Whatever though this is stupid, the man has said offensive things about gays with little remorse until near his payday now. |
