It's a good thing, if Manchester City had offered £50 million, it's still ridiculous, but no where near as extreme as £100 odd million. It would ruin the market forever, well done AC Milan! Noooooooo! Seriously, the transfer market died years ago when united bought Rio Ferdinand for £29 million, so stop being a girl.

Man City are trying to get an agreement for David Villa I thought we pulled out because it was like £80m+ when we valued him at £40-£50m. I have no idea who we will buy, but I know we'll get unwarranted stick.

^^ Valencia said they will be forced to sell some of their big names because of their financial state.
I heard David Trezeguet wants a move to Chelsea and that Juventus have signed their little wonder defender Giovinco has signed for Arsenal so they can offer more for Malouda in the summer... prob all April Fools jokes, hope so.

Gareth Barry, Gareth Bale, David Silva, Eto and Aaron Lennon. Stewart Downing I also hear. Ithink Barry is Liverpool bound, and Downing and Lennon may also make the move, but no one bigger.

Just had another read, seems £18mil is what they are talking about for Eto. Rangers could have had him for £6 a few years back ;D

Heard that Villa has been reduced by Valencia to £59,999,999 which is still well above city's valuation

We're not gonna get anyone special in the summer.
We just need to get rid of Dunne, Richards, Benjani an some other fringe players.

The Sun say we have held talks with Kaka

Yeah I heard about Man united in talks with Kaka. Would be intresting because I see Kaka actually going to Man United, since he would be getting Champions League football like he wants.
Edit-
Real Madrid and Manchester United have been linked with a summer move for Kaka, but the player himself has dismissed the reports.
Kaka reiterated his desire to stay with Milan when asked yet again about new rumours linking him with a move to either Real Madrid or Manchester United.
The Brazilian superstar has had to state his intention to stay at the San Siro on several occasions since a move to Manchester City did not materialise in January.
The media have consistently claimed that Milan's willingness to speak to the Premier League club is a sign that they may consider another huge bid.
Manchester United are the latest club to be linked with a move for the Brazilian. Sir Alex Ferguson is reported to want Kaka if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Old Trafford.
Kaka's admission that he also would like to try playing in England helped fuel the rumours, while Florentino Perez's quest to be president of Real Madrid has seen the player repeatedly linked with the Spanish giants.
But the player himself has moved to quash the reports once more and told the press that he is enjoying life at Milan and is not seeking a move away.
“I have already said and already shown that I am committed to this club so there is nothing else to add,” Kaka told the Italian media.
“I truly enjoy myself at San Siro and I am happy with the support I receive here,” he concluded.

Anyone here about the "joke" that Celtic are going to try and bring MICHAEL OWEN in if Newcastle are relegated on a pay by play contract at £50k? Found it pretty funny myslef.
Also, Burnley are in for Scott Severin from Aberdeen if we beat Shef Utd in the play off finals. £600,000 I think is being talked about which is fair.
I also bet my life Liverpool will sign atleast two of Tevez, Downing, Barry, Silva and Albiol (Don't quote me on that)
