Robbie Fowler is set to join Blackburn from Cardiff. imo I think it's one of those signings that a manager makes for whom he has played with (Roy Keane is an example).

Better to take a veteran you know than one you don't.

I can see Blackburn struggling this season especially if Bentley leaves and they make signings like that.

Dunno what ince is thinking tbh, he may as well get other past it players looking for 1 last payday such as Andy Cole, Hasselbank, Okocha and bring Teddy as well.

I feel sorry for the Cardiff fans, He's cost them so much money.
Looks like Ronaldo's off after that response to Blatters comments.
Lampard is off now aswell, he's told the fellow players, and his agent revealed it, reportedly.
Real Madrid agree personal terms with Van Der Vaart, Panathanaikos after Saviola, Barcelona intersted in... Trezeguet.
Did any of you see that the Marseille fans were trying to raise £22million for Drogba lol, 5euros each apparently.
PSV are moving in for the Real Ronaldo too.
Roma are still after Baptista, and should land Pavlyuchenko soon. Simic is going to Fiorentina, Burdisso to Paris St Germain.

Quieroz quit United today, Officially. Gutted about that. I hope we go for Cantona, a couple of years under Sir Alex would do wonders for his skills, and his creativity will be injuected in the team. I feel players such as Anderson, Nani, Rooney and Tevez would relish his ideas. Also, www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/ronaldo-to-star-in-remake-of-'roots'--200807111089/

United will get Cantona, and he will take over Fergie eventually. Perfect for them.

I'm really gutted that Quieroz has gone, he's been fantastic for United, Cantona would be a great replacement.

I reckon it will be Meulensteen. Although I hope it's someone who's previously played for us like Cantona or Choccy.

How dare Blatter make a comment in a football world thats supposedly impartial despite the fact the fifa world player of the year always goes to a spanish or italian based player when in the past Henry, Shearer, Beckham, Gerrard and even Ronaldo last year deserved it. Why doesnt he say anything about Barry, Bentley, Crouch, Ronaldinho(wants to play in olympics and barca dont want him but they wont let him) all wanting to leave their clubs but not being allowed..
Ronaldo is a complete prat for saying he is like a slave, major insult to actual slaves being payed £150,000 a week, why did he sign a long term deal if he knew he always wanted to go.

Liquid Crouch has left Liverpool... but I agree with what you're saying tbh
Aguero... Well i'd love him to join Liveprool but I can't see it happening tbh.
Suprisingly in terms of buying Man United have been really quiet I reckon... everyones saying they want a striker etc but they havent really been properly linked with many people
