Would it be great if Berbatov came? Absolutely.
Would it be a complete disaster if he didn't? No.
The squad has aleady been given more depth than the double winning side last year.
A fit Foster to contend for the no1 or 2nd choice keeper.
Evans as cover for centre backs.
Neville to push brown for RB
The Da Silva twins for full backs/ wingers.
Rodrigo for centre mid (who I am very impressed with so far)
Campbell and Manucho(I think he has his permit, working on fitness now.

Why? its not like we need him... Gerrard, Mascherano, Alonso and Lucas are all CM's. I dont want us to waste that much on him Just because you have 1 good CM's and 3 decent ones doesn't mean you can't improve. Mascherano and Alonso > Barry IMO |

Maybe because he likes roma better, how the players are loyal.. how they play some of the best looking football in europe.. so he can play with one of the best in Totti? I could go on and on.

He could play with Totti or he could play with Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Scholes, Giggs etc. I think the truth is we didn't really want him and he wouldn't get in the team. Considering that was a shitty friendly with half our team not playing, which we really didnt care about... and we just played inter in the super cup and they won on pens after it going 2 - 2... and looking at spur's and roma's squads, im sure he'd think think Roma's would do better. Maybe because he likes roma better, how the players are loyal.. how they play some of the best looking football in europe.. so he can play with one of the best in Totti? I could go on and on. Giggs was wanted by Milan, and I would be very surprised if there were no big offers made for Scholes Keane etc. Best looking football- Roma and Arsenal?
