This is how the transfer market is going to go now
- Top world-class player rumoured to go to a big club for £20-30 million - Al Fahim picks up the phone, rings Mark Hughes "Think you can do anything with him?" - Mark Hughes: "Maybe" - Excellent, I'll bid double everything the other club is offering, you'll have him next week.
He has the money to pay ridiculous amounts of money for any player, just to have them, regardless of if they are worth it simply because he can. I wouldn't be surprised if he bid £125 million for someone in January with something like a £750,000 a week contract, and I can't seriously imagine anybody turning it down

I can because some players actually play football to win trophies rather than getting an even more obscene pay check.

As soon as they have a couple of bad games, Al Fahim will use that as an excuse and sack him and get Rijkaard to replace him.

He will have a group of 16 managers paid £1million and hour, including Sir Alf Ramesy and Brian Clough.

We are not owned by Al-Fahim. He has nothing to do with MCFC he was just their spokesperson for the Takeover. Sheik Mansour is the Owner. Simon Pearce, Garry Cook and Al Murabarak (?) are the Chairmen.

Who wants their club to go in for Zaki?
I can see a raft of teams bidding for him in January.
Based on his general play and his energy, he would be a good signing for any team. Steve has a very good system which is bringing in very good players at Wigan.

Very impressed with him so far, you are right about Bruce, he is getting a very good side together with Zaki, Valencia and Palacious

So random this. I don't get Milan at all, they'd make a mint out of him in terms of merchandise since he's only there on loan, but they keep signing older players. He'll only be at the San Siro for about 6-8 weeks anyway, but I'd love to see him there.

Steve has a very good system which is bringing in very good players at Wigan. I can't see him fitting in at a quality team. He is a bully, he just elbows the defence and then he falls over when there is minimal contact. He wouldn't get away with his physicality in Spain, Italy or any other European league.

He's been on fire recently What a load of Bollocks £63m for Gigi Buffon and £129m for Casillas! We need a CF, CM and a LB before a GK.
