Is there not a way to do a CPU vs CPU match?? Will someone tell me how to??

You can, but it has to be in tournament mode. When a CPU VS. CPU match comes up in the tournament, it gives you the option of watching it or skipping it (I think that the game calls a match skip a "simulation", but I can't remember for sure.
