Yea but still,he deserves another run before he retires,i say he should win it at slammiversary and lose it at bound for glory or somewhere down the line,to a younger guy and "pass the torch" on his way out

Why? He doesn't need it. Sting hasn't been pushed right in TNA for that "Passing the torch" story. Sting isn't a guy who needs another run. He returned to wrestling for TNA in January '06 and has won the title at both BFG's since. Give it to someone else. Joe needs to main event Bound For Glory (and not with Sting) because the past two BFG's it's been nothing but WWE guys (Sting, Angle, Jarrett) and for TNA's biggest show of the year that doesn't say it at all.

Sting hasn't pushed right in TNA period,I think he would have been better off not resigning a contract and going to WWE and wrestling flair at wrestlemania,don't get me wrong now,love tna but let's see wrestling flair at wrestlemania or feuding with james storm (big fan) and being in a pointless dueces wild tournament at the last ppv,again just my opinion,on the whole only WWE wrestlers have main evented BFG I completely agree with you but sadly those are TNA's top guys as were they in WWE and it seems whenever they do throw a young guy in a main event it was thrown in last minute to cover someone's spot and then nothing else is ever done with it,Chris Harris at Slammiversary last year,Eric Young at Turning Point last year,the same with more than likely happen with Kaz after Sacrifice

Sting is WCW guy .alos i don't count jeef jarret as WWe guy because jjef jarrett is TNA. without jeff jarrett there would be no TNA at all.i rahter have jeff jarrett or sting in the main event of any ppv then the guys you want in main event.alsosting helped TNa since the firsy year while most of today roster are bunch of bandwagoners |

I doubt Jarrett is seen as a WWE nowadays. He was - What, a Mid-carder at best in the WWF? Granted he was a main-eventer in WCW, he built TNA - I think that credits him as a TNA guy. |

Instead of giving Sting a "lengthy" title run,that time should be spent on giving someone new the title.Sting has had his fame,and its time for him to step aside,and let others define themselfs.

No, Sting does not deserve a long title reign... it bothers me when they give older guys titles just because some stupid fans think that just because they are on the verge of retirement they deserve one last shot with the title. How about instead of living in the past, use these guys to skyrocket other Superstar's careers. The main event of Mania this year could have easily catapulted Edge's career into the upper echelon had Taker just lost... what has Undertaker, Sting or any of these older guys on the verge of retirement done lately that warrants them a World Title run other than it just being for nostalgia sake...

Sorry, I meant WCW/WWE guys. I'm talking about the causaual fans who don't know TNA. They're going to think other companys when they see guys like Jarrett, Sting and Angle. I know Jarrett built TNA and he is a TNA guy but the thing is to a causal viewer he's a "WCW/WWE" guy. I think that TNA needs a Bound For Glory where the main event has atleast one guy that hasn't worked in other companys (AJ Styles or Joe pops into mind). I'm not saying it's a horrible thing to have Jarrett in the main event or that I look at him as a "WWE/WCW" guy because I don't. I look at Jarrett as a TNA guy but at the same time the causal viewer sees him as a WWE/WCW guy.
Also, Mr.Chase who do I want in the main event since you know?

Also, I never said Sting should get the title run before retiring, I'm saying it because I think it could help TNA a little. |

No, that's a rumor. Noone knows what's going to happen between then and now. Sting hasn't put anyone over other than Abyss (via. DQ btw).
