Today my wife ran to the store to buy some pop. When she was there she noticed the three new trial flavors of the DEWmocracy campaign. They are Called REVOLUTION Dew; Infused With Wid Berry Fruit Flavor and Ginseng. SUPERNOVA Dew; With A Blast of Strawberry Melon Flavor and Ginseng. VOLTAGE DEW; Charged With Raspberry Citrus Flavor and Ginseng. 1 of 3 new MD flavors created by Dew Drinkers. Only 1 will remain...
Im kinda disappointed that neither one of these is Mountain Dew. None of them have Moutain Dew in them. I was hoping that it would be different flavors mixed with Mountain Dew. These are just new flavors; that taste the same. Voltage tastes like Pepsi Blue. It was ok, but not my favorite. SuperNova tasted similar to Voltage. I have yet to taste Revolution, but I'm not getting my hopes up with that either.
How many of you have tried them, and what do you think?

I Tried Supernova, It was alright, Nothing too special,
I'd rather have pitch black back though.

Here's the link.. www.dewmocracy.com/ . It says due out in June, but it must have been released early here in Iowa. I think that our state is a test market for PepsiCo. I do remember we were the test market for Vanilla Pepsi, and Holiday Spice, and way back in the day with Crystal Pepsi. This must be the reason for the early release of the DEWmocracy Campaign. |

I was hoping there would be a blue type of mountain dew, like pepsi blue. Oh well, ill probably try them but if its not a different dew flavor, it makes the whole contest pointless. Why name it dew if it has no dew in it..rather dumb.

Voltage and Revolution are both blue, but different shades. But yeah; I agree with you there if it doesnt have Mountain Dew in it; it isnt Mountain Dew. Just like with Pepsi Blue. It didnt have any Pepsi in it, and it sucked!

I am drinking REVOLUTION right now, and I've come to the conclusion that they are all the same flavor, but with different names and colors. I think PepsiCo is trying to trick the public into thinking they are all different. Drink them all at the same time; with a blind fold and you wont be able to tell the difference.

I am so disappointed with PepsiCo, and their bad decision making with their "new" concoctions. When they decided to discontinue making Vanilla Pepsi, and then replace it with these different fruit flavored Pepsi-Cola in DIET ONLY a couple of years ago. Then to discontinue the Holiday Spice, and instead they make a week attempt to replace it with Cranberry Flavored Sierra Mist. Now they've been messing with Mountain Dew. They have been doing this since Code Red. Sure that was a great attempt, but again; it was a dissappointment since it had no MD in it. Then their sad excuse for an orange flavored MD called Live Wire, but it's very watered down, and again it has NO MD in it. I'd rather drink a store brand orange pop; than Live Wire. Now they are trying to mess with our heads again with these 3 test drinks that are filled with Ginseng and different fruit flavors (that to me taste the same, or similar to each other), and try and pass them off as a new flavored Mountain Dew; when there isn't any MD in them. I am one person who thinks that if youare going to use make a different flavor under a specific brand name; it should have a mixture of that flavor in it.
Sorry; PepsiCo! None of these getting any vote from me. To me they are CRAP!
