Well, last night i was lookin around craigslist.com at the "Free" section, and came across an add for a lady who's Dwarf Russian Hamster had babies about a month ago, and was giving them away. She had 6 females and 2 males. I called up this afternoon, and was told she had 2 males and 1 female left, so i asked if she could hold 1 of the males for me. I went to the pet store with my girlfriend, and we picked out a cage, wheel, igloo, ect for it, and headed over around 8:30 PM. when we got there, she had gotten home from work not too long before then and greeted us. We went over and she took out the one we asked her to hold for us, and asked if she would be ok with giving us the other male also, and she was more then happy. So we talked to her for a while and got to know a bit about them and how to take care of them, and came home. On the car ride, we thought of names for them, i decided on Quagmire, and my girlfriend decided on Stewie. So here are a few pics of them Here's quagmire and you can see how small he is  The Set-up  Quagmire on the wheel     They grow to be about 3-4 inches long and live for 2-3 years. They are 4 weeks old now |

Those are real cute, I'd like to have one of my own. Hopefully I can find something good on the free craigslist ads around here.

They make nice pets, but they mate more than porn stars. Be ready for a shitload of babies, i swear they lay a litter a week it seems.

That was cute, my cousin used have Dwarf Russian Hamsters. That was very tiny and lovely. I was owner of two hamsters before, Sid and Rex, They both died  |

May i suggest a water bottle thingy instead of a dish. Dwarf hamsters can drown in the water. Belive me from experience.  |
