I have always wondered this but for some reason always forget to post about it, but now its in my mind.
To kick out of a pin does it require to actually get the shoulder off the mat or just to kick your foot or move or have something happen to the pin.
I always thought a shoulder actually has to get lifted from the mat, but i noticed that only maybe half of kick outs does the wrestler actually get the shoulder up and often the foot kicks and the wrestler moves, but the shoulder doesnt lift.
This is particularly evident in triple threat matches. A lot of times the third wrestler that interrupts the pin hits the wrestler doing the pin and the wrestler is shaken, but still remains on the wrestler he is pinning and the wrestler he is pinnings shoulders are still flat on the mat and it counts as a breaking up of a pin.
So my second question is in triple threat matches to break up a pin is it required that the third wrestler actually knocks the pinning wrestler completely off the wrestler he is pinning or just the fact that he makes any kind of contact with the wrestler making the pin count it as a breaking up of the pin because most of the time the third wrestler hits the wrestler making the pin, but the wrestler making the pin doesnt actually move off the wrestler he is pinning.

Your shoulder blade has to be lifted off of the mat, if memory serves me correctly. Bashing another wrestler off in a triple threat match is just considered an interruption of the count and breaks it.

You've got to either get your shoulder off the mat or the guy off of you. In a triple threat, the third guy simply knocks the pinner off the pinnee. The pinnee may still be on the ground, but no one is holding his shoulders down.

kick ur feet out, and shoulder is up...although the latter sometimes doesnt happen. It'd really sickening how many pins/no pins happen this way

thats always got me thinking to tbh.
but i think if you were to kick your legs up the pinner would slightly come off of you anyway.

As far as I know, A shoulder up is all you need. In triple threats, tag matches, etc., When someone kicks the Pinner or interfere's with the pin, The ref will stop the count.

This isn't really the same thing, but does anyone else remember when they used to actually use a 5 count when a wrestler's tag team partner entered the ring illegally, without being tagged in? Now, you're just able to do whatever you want for as long as you want.

Now, you're just able to do whatever you want for as long as you want. It's only used when it's crucial to the outcome to the match, much like the out-of-ring ten-count.

They have to get a shoulder off of the mat in order to kickout. A pin required both shoulders to be down. Also all someone needs to do is pretty much make contact with another wrestler to break up a pin.

The rules at wrestling, your shoulders have to out before the referee pinned 3, the legs kick, just help your shoulder move up from the mat. If your kick your legs up, and shoulders STILL on the mat, your match will be over.
