Puroresu = pro-wrestling in Japanese. The styles in Japan vary and I listed those. Strong Style = NJPW King's Road = AJPW/NOAH Shoot-Style = UWF/UWFi/BattlARTS/RINGS/U-STYLE Lucharesu = Toryumon/Toryumon X/Dragon Gate/Michinoku Pro/dragondoor/El Dorado/Osaka Pro Ultraviolent = FMW/BJPW Those are wrestling styles in Japan. Puroresu isn't. Puroresu is pro-wrestling. Tell me the title of this video: w3.mytlv.com:88/?action=View&file=92778&rsort=7Go down to Ultramantis Black and tell me what his style is.. www.chikarapro.com/RosterRUDOS.shtmlHere is two quotes from interviews and articles that i've read - "A few of the wrestlers in America who have been known to work stiff in the puroresu style are Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho (at times), Vader, the Steiner Brothers, and the Dynamite Kid. Many other American wrestlers work stiff from time to time, but the ones above are known for it. ""MVP says he is an avid watcher of puroresu, the Japanese style of professional wrestling. "The tapes where I really became a tape-watcher were Japanese wrestling. Ordering, borrowing and trading Japanese tapes. I broke, I can safely say, four VCRs -- hitting pause, rewind, fast forward, stop."Puroresu is a stiff style of professional wrestling used mostly by Chris Benoit, Vader, Regal and many others. Puroresu is "Pro Wres" in english yes. but its also a style according to these interviews and articles... they are simply not educated on what it means obviously

Jason is the worst at arguments like this obviously, or he would have replied to the comment that proved him wrong.

Not sure where in this thread anybody said anything about girlfriends. Good job trying to hide the fact that you were wrong by even mentioning about the girlfriends of people you don't even know.
Puroresu means Pro-Wrestling in Japanese. End conversation.

"Pro Wrestling" isn't considered a style. What i mean is "Puroresu is the japanese style of professional wrestling." As in Puroresu is Japanese wrestling, you seem to be misunderstanding me..

Both the terms Smark and Mark are misused, and don't even need to be used anymore to begin with. These terms were used back when kayfabe was needed, and mainly when reporters/photographers would be backstage. Terminology was needed. Like it was said earlier, mark is just somebody who looks at wrestling as sort of unscripted/doesn't know real from fake. The smark is somebody who knows fake from real or at least some of the time does. Now the terms are used as insults. I am an indy wrestler and I actually hate these terms, simply because I feel the meaning of both now has become insults to the paying fan. I think that started when indy wrestlers from years back thought it would be cool to insult the fans by using this "inside" terminology. Which at the time, might have still been kayfabed. The use of the term smark now is basically what they call a fan who has a computer and is smarter than most to the business, but a 5 year old can be a smark if they want to. And the term mark is just used to insult somebody, or call them dumb. I think there are multiple kinds of fans; regular, wwe, opinionated, entertained, etc. All have the right to say/do what they want, and should not be insulted for doing so as long as they are paying to see what they are discussing for the most part.
