I love how the smarks come along and fire the big names and replace them with the indy darlings... If TNA got Larry Sweeney, Super Dragon, Chuck Taylor and others and then got rid of guys like Booker, Steiner and Nash you wanna know who'd tune in? Only the smarks. TNA doesent aim towards the smarks they aim towards the casual fans... Ummm....casual fans arent tuning in as is. |

They're washed up has-beens? You can be 35 and be a washed up has been?? Poor AJ Styles only has a couple years left before he's a washed up has been.... Poor guy... A person's age doesn't mean much when it comes to being washed up. It's their lack of ring ability since their WWE days that I was getting at. Same could be said about Black Reign, only in a much bigger way. |

I don't understand the whole 'old names attract new fans' concept... to me it's ass backwards and it shows in the stagnant ratings TNA gets. The younger generation (not to be confused with smarks) want to see youth, action, and excitement... not historical references and old names trying to reclaim their attitude era glory. No one who is unfamiliar with pro wrestling is gonna flip through the channels and say, "Hey that Kevin Nash moves like the tin man... wait a minute, he's from the 90's... MUST SEE!!!" Sure Nash is a big name but you gotta ask yourself one question... "He's a big name... to who?" Answer: To those who already decided on TNA one way or the other. |
