-- People within TNA were raving about last week's angle featuring Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. The set up was so strong that the fans thought Angle was going to save Styles, but he turned on him instead. Also, they think that the heat from the Orlando fans was the biggest in a while.
-- TNA is interested in Sarah Stock a.k.a. Dark Angel from the CMLL promotion out of Mexico, but it could pose as a political problem should she sign with them. TNA is using some wrestlers from CMLL for the upcoming X-Cup Tournament, and the feeling is that if the company signs talent from them, the owner, Paco Alonso, won't be too hot on doing business with TNA again in the future. The feeling is Alonso is the king of wrestling in Mexico and he doesn't have to do business with TNA.
-- The Sun has an interview with TNA wrestler Homicide and he is quite critical of Internet wrestling fans, calling them "idiots" & "dorks" and that they deserve to be "shanked." "America is a joke when it comes to wrestling fans," Homicide said. "I'm going to say it out loud. We got good wrestling fans and we got smart marks who are a bunch of idiots and dorks sitting at a computer and thinking they are better than a wrestler or a booker." The interviewer points out that the U.K. also has its share of "smart marks." Homicide replies, "But not like the ones in the United States. Over here they deserve to get shanked. -- TNA Knockout Angelina Love sent out the following message on her MySpace page concerning her concussion in a match at this week's Impact tapings:
Hey everybody!
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has sent me emails, myspace mesages and texts regarding my injury at the TNA tapings yesterday.
I did bop my head and get a concussion but I am doing just fine. I got home today and took a big long nap and tomorrow I'm going in for a massage on my neck.
So I'll be just fine! The next time you'll see me I'll be at the Slammiversary PPV at the Desota Center in Southaven, MS with my Partner In Crime and the other half of The Beautiful People, Velvet Sky!
