The first head to head battle between TNA and WWE's ECW program took place last night with TNA emerging victorious. Surprisingly, TNA did it's normal 1.1 rating. ECW, not being in it's normal time slot and with apparently not much of it's fan base looking for it, did a 0.6, about half of what it has been doing during it's Tuesday night slot.
It's interesting that TNA's ratings were barely affected when going head to head with ECW last night. The last time TNA went head to head with WWE was when Raw was moved to a Thursday night. Not only did Raw slaughter TNA that night, but TNA drew a much lower than usual rating. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well it wouldn't take much for TNA to beat ECW or SmackDown!. I doubt it will EVER beat RAW on the other hand.

Although good news nothing to get excited about. People had already been watching Impact's 1st hour and it was taking on a show that was on the wrong night. Trying doing Impact tuesday with it's first hour on during ECW, I doubt the results will be the same. I like to think TNA is starting to compete but this isn't really a sign of that,

I don't think it means shit, TNA got it's normal rating because it was on at the normal time, ECW wasn't, and a lot of people didn't know when it was on and probably figured it wasn't on. IMO, that's why they got a .6.

That's what happens when you have Big Daddy V and Mark Henry in the main event.

ECW wasn't even on its regular day, this doesn't prove TNA can beat ****.

I'm glad, cause ECW totally sucked yesterday while Impact was pretty good overall.

TNA should in theory, have a higher rating if people "preferred" to watch the show over ECW.
Needless to say:
TNA = 1.1

Well why would you want to watch a bunch of midcarders when you can watch Kurt Angle, Christian, Samoa Joe, etc.
