Are any of them good?I am thinking of getting DOR 2,WM X8,and WM XIX.Are these games good?

DOR 2 is probably the best. Its almost the same as DOR 1 but with better legends and I think more choices in Story mode (DOR1 only had the choice of what brand your on). Also DOR2 had a new submission reversing system

DoR 2 is the best gamecube wrestling game IMO, the only reason to get WM X8 and XIX would be for the rosters as they feature some guys which DoR 2 doesnt such as Shane and Goldberg. WM XIX plays similar to DoR2 although it is not as polished and the animations arent as fluid, X8 plays differently altogether with no strong or weak grapples and very little in the way of weight advantages between superstars.

I enjoyed Wrestlemania 18 mainly because Scott Hall was in it. ¬_¬
Wrestlemania 19 had that awesome story mode where you attack cops and what not.
Can't say I've played the DOR games.

DOR and DOR2 aren't as bad as everyone made them out to be. I liked it because it was the only game I owned where I could play as post-Morley Val Venis.
I do recommend thinking about upgrading to a next gen console though.

I do recommend thinking about upgrading to a next gen console though. not everyone can offord the new systems, I was using PS2 only, until just recently when I got the Wii for my birthday, and I still plan on getting SVR09 and Impact! for Ps2 mostly due to the hacks but on-topic I always enjoyed the gamecube ones except WM18 |

Both DOR 1 and 2 are great and being honest you can't go wrong with either for me I prefered DOR1 mainly because of the tremendous Rock character model. The stamina system in DOR2 sucks to be honest but of the top off my head I am sure you can switch it off, Like I said both are good but if I had to pick one it would be DOR1. You never really here any onesay that either game flat out sucks.
I hated the season mode but thats because I hate being forced to play as a CAW not that the stories or anything like that suck I just hated being a CAW. But for every person that hates playing as a CAW theres one who loves it.

All of them are actually great games. My favorite out of the four is DOR2.

DOR 1 is definitely the best out of the 2. Don't get WMX8, it's not that great. I disagree. It's a great arcade style game, that can be fun, it's just not as good as the other games on the market. But it can be fun, the only problem is the caw mode. |

Day of Reckoning has an easier story mode than Day of Reckoning 2, so if you're looking for a good challenge, pick up the latest version.

If you're a Jeff Hardy fan, get WM X8, since its the only one where you can play as him, but I would say every gamecube WWE game is awesome. I got bored some time with Day of Reckoning I don't know why, but when I started doing CAWs, it was awesome again. I really wish I still had my gamecube with those games.  |
