hopefully the WWE doesn't drop the ball on this storyline, I'm expecting something huge like maybe a team up or a heel turn by HBK...something!
ANYWAY what are your thoughts?

It looks like Y2J is going to be heel again. I'm PRAYING for the IC title to be defended at Night of Champions, Jericho/Michaels in a  ing ladder match.... badass. |

They put it on Jericho, why not Michaels? It's not like Jericho isn't an established main eventer and first Undisputed champion. Either way I'd mark for a ladder match between these two.

Not so much funny, I enjoy seeing the Intercontinental title going on main eventer's like Triple H or Shawn Michaels, it means someone can get a big win by defeating them for the title.

i fink michaels in the stage of his career where he doesnt need a title. the last time hbk had a title was the tag with which ended the day after wm23 and hhh is starting to get there. world title reign end wm21 2005 next major title No Mercy 2007 over 2 years. Ok he had an injury for 8 mownths inbetween

I really hope this fued continues and HBK walks out some how with the IC title. I think it would be something different for Michaels. I mean they could build it up somehow, seeing as Shawn hasn't held IC gold in over 13 years. And knowing WWE they will forget about the WWe Ic title match he had w/ Jericho a few years back and build it up that HBK hasn't had a IC title match in 13 years, or sumthin like that.

They put it on Jericho, why not Michaels? It's not like Jericho isn't an established main eventer and first Undisputed champion. Either way I'd mark for a ladder match between these two. Honestly, he's not an established main eventer. Even since 2002, he has spent more time in the mid-card than main event scene. Anyway, this will probably end up in an IC title match between the two. Maybe a ladder match at Summerslam? |

It is interesting yet a little difficult to get overly into at the same time. I will admit I am really curious to see where it is going, but I just feel weird because I feel like Y2J should be involved in an IC title feud and HBK should be going for the WWE title. |

well seems like jericho might face JBL at night of champions (I really hope not!) - JBL as a main event talent needs to be put in a match and that's the only 1 available

A ladder IC title match would be decent, i just hope when ECW does go raw they give the belt to some newer guys from raw and ecw and is anyone sick of the recycled matches wwe shows it is unbelievable, aside from the womens match at JD and ONS have all been seen before about 3 or 4 or in Y2J and HBK's case five years ago enough with these matches.
