you had to have known it was coming...these fights are all going to be really entertaining the first minute..but if it goes past that they will all be pretty damn boring...especially with these NFL guys who are huge as f*** and can take guys down..but then when they are on the ground they have no idea as to what to do next...

It was seriously one of the worst fights I have ever seen EVER. That includes street fights. For s sake, they were BOTH just standing there BREATHING for seconds on end. It was ing embarrassing. "Tired" isn't even the word for what those guys were. I just can't get over it. It's real funny how Dana White called this an "Exciting Season". From the looks of it, it looks boring as with these fights so far.

both fights really sucked so far. mcsweeney seemed polished to a degree, due to training with shad for a bit, but his stamina is not up to par. plus, it seemed like if shivers had a clue, he couldve taken him down at will.... so if mcsweeney does somehow win this, a move to lightheavy might be in his best interest. i initially said... though, alas not on here... that one of shad's top two picks... mcsweeney or schaub, are gonna win this. and i still think thats the case... i dont see any of the football players having the stamina, i dont see nelson or kimbo having the all around game, no matter who wins next week, and im too drunk to remember of the cast. but yea... schaub or mcsweeney, despite the mediocre performance tonight.

Yeah I think Brendan Schaub or (believe it or not) Wes Sims will be the winner of this season.

I personally am pulling for Kimbo next week. I just cannot stand "Big Country" He's one of those guys who comes in and acts like Dana owes it to him for him to be on TUF. Whereas Kimbo came in and was more than willing to learn and really get down to basics with rampage. Roy doesnt know when to shut the up and listen, He acts like he's better than Rashad and that he's the total package as far as the UFC goes. Kimbo getting rid of Roy would be huge, and I hope it happens

Big difference there though. Kimbo has the reputation of being a YouTube street brawler, whereas Nelson has already established himself.

Nelson definitely has the better skills than Kimbo and is a well established name in the business. However I think Nelson has a terrible attitude towards this whole thing. Like it seems to me like he feels like the second coming of christ and that TUF is a joke. Watching it last night it just seemed as if he didn't really care to be there, that he was there to screw off and get on TV. He's a hell of a fighter yes, but he's far from the best.

I honestly thought Shivers won the fight. Yes McSweeney was landing kicks, but Shivers was countering a lot of those with some decent punches. McSweeney definitely gave more effort, but Shivers landed some bigger punches, had McSweeney running away, and maintained ground control for a couple minutes or more. I was kind of shocked when McSweeney was named winner.

That was a pretty bad fight last night, but sadly I've seen worse. Don't know what promotion it was, but it was between two lightweights. The one guy only threw wild, windmill haymakers, and missed all of them. He was gassed within a minute and lost with very little resistance. Of course this was all after he hyped his hands and cardio in the pre-fight interviews.
Anyways, I'd like to believe the fights will somehow get better as time goes on. I'm expecting another disaster when that tall black NFL player gets in the octagon next. Not sure what his name is, but he's the one that puked during cardio training on the first episode.

Alright so I don't mean to post so much but ya know.
Anyways, So I don't know a whole lot about this Big Country fellow. I never got into the IFL so i haven't seen much of him. So I just was on youtube and saw his fight with Big Brad Imes. Now granted he won the fight but I got down towards the end of the fight and there was like a minute and a half left and Nelson looked BEAT. He looked so out of breath and absolutely exhausted.
In my opinion of what i have seen of this guy is he's got heavy hands. He's an extremely big guy (weight wise) and has strong punches. He just looked so out of shape that it wasnt funny.
Kimbo is a big boy, He's in great shape he's just not as experienced. Kimbo has some hard punches and i truly think and hope he gets Nelson with one and lays him out.

I totally thought Wes Shivers won that fight last night..I was extremely surprised that other guy won...If takedowns count so much then I'm not sure why Shivers lost. He also landed more shots (I think)...that other guy just landed some kicks in the second round.
also the previews of him talking sh** to Rampage when Rampage and Rashad were arguing kind of pissed me off. What is up with these guys trying to start fights with the coaches? I think it is very disrespectful and they are like the very bottom rung of the ladder to be doing that type of sh**.

I actually thought it was amusing watching him get tough with Rampage, considering how bad his fight was. I'm surprised he didn't get gassed just from elevating the volume of his voice at Rampage.

His fight with Brad Imes was like 3 minutes long and Nelson was constantly pushing the action with punches over and over. You must be mistaken. Nelson was doing well on the ground against Arlovski too. He passed his guard, but it was stood up for whatever reason. The thing is with Nelson is that whenever it goes to the ground, it's commonly mistaken for him "resting" because of his size, which isn't fair at all.

I would love to see Kimbo win just to see everyone who picked Nelson as a favorite to win, eat crow.. I don't expect Kimbo to win the finals or even make it to the finals but I think he will make it past his first fight. I don't think Dana would be hyping him up the way he has been if he didn't make it past the first fight. Plus, Dana knows once Kimbo is beaten the ratings will probably drop.

I think Shivers may have set the all-time record for most times a fighter put his hands on his hips and just stood there in the middle of a fight.

Why the was my post deleted? The photo could be a potential spoiler, and even if it's not, it could definitely be perceived that way. Someone had already complained about it.

Spoiler? Its a still photo from a COMMERCIAL that plays on Spike TV. Are you serious? Which wasn't made clear in your original post. Maybe post an explanation with your random photo next time instead of freaking out that the mod didn't read your f'ing mind and know where you got it from.
