Schoonover was a horrible choice for Big Baby...I actually think Schoonover looked like one of the best guys there...I think they should have put Big Baby in there against McSweeney...he didn't look all that great against another giant, Shivers, so I think Big Baby would have done great.
I was very happy to see Big Baby win..the guy just looks like such a good guy...always smiling..not trying to act like a bad ass like all the other guys on the show..it is refreshing...

I really enjoyed Big Baby pulling out the win, he wasn't joking when he said he was taking someone's arm home with him.
That said, Rashad's "break one off in your ass" insult has met its match with Rampage's "treat me like a sucker" comeback.

Big baby totally impressed me, I hope he goes all the way. His jiu jitsu game is excellent. I'd love to see him tap out big country

Are these heavyweights ing serious? Like, for real? How can they have such shi*ty conditioning and expect to last in there with the established heavyweights? I have no idea man. They must be nuts if they actually believe they can though. However, next week's episode, I don't give Big Marcus Jones two minutes before he's sucking air. He'll be gassed in record time I predict. I mean, if you recall not too long ago, he was like nearly fainting at the house during one episode and I believe if he's doing that while he's not fighting, then he's doomed from the get-go. He'll gas out for sure and Mike Wessel will finish him off. I seriously doubt that fight will see the second round. It'll be a clean-sweep for Team Rashad. Watch and see. You were right.

^^^... haha....Mr. Old School just doesn't keep his over the top Dana White-esque opinions to himself. Gotta respect that. When he's right he's right, and when he's wrong he's wrong. But he'll always proclaim his stance the loudest. BTW, Dana White last night was funny when he called out Big Country.

I honestly loved Dana calling out Big Country, which revealed Big Country's "play it safe" mentality going into the Kimbo fight. You can tell that really rubbed Dana the wrong way. Honestly, my fandom of Roy Nelson has never been lower. He's really come off as an arrogant, cocky tool that thinks TUF is beneath him. It must really cause him to toss and turn at night knowing that this was the only way to make it into the UFC since he refused to lose the gut. Since I love the dark horse, I hope Big Baby surprises us all and gets through to the finals. He'll have some pretty tough competition, but stranger things have happened. That said, it looks like Kimbo will finally, FINALLY get his second chance after weeks and weeks of false teasing. Despite winning the fight, Mitrione looked pretty ed up afterwards. I'm thinking he has some sort of concussion.

If I had a nickel for every time Mr Oldschool was wrong on a prediction and had to eat his words... Yeah, and you'd have about 20 cents because I am not wrong often. With that said, I was right when I said the fight wouldn't see the 2nd round. That part I was right about. However, the winner I picked wrong. Big deal. Can't be right all the time. Even the best are wrong from time to time. ;D LOL. Congrats go to "Big Baby" for his quick, impressive win over Wessell. I still think he will gas in a fight if it goes longer than 4 minutes. The fight last night didn't even go long enough to see if he will gas, so we still don't know. I think he will though. Big guys like that tend to gas early. Look at last week's fight and need I say more? That being said, I'm sorry, but I've got to bring up the one guy that I just cannot stand this season, the man that can't live up the hype, the man with big, black greasy-lookin' beard, Kimbo Slice. First off, I still think Dana White is pissed because Roy Nelson beat their main attraction this season. The guy they put so much ing hype and emphasis on, is beat quite convincingly on like the 3rd episode into the season. That must've pissed him off to waste so much television air time hyping and hyping Kimbo's fight and then he goes out like that, in one of the most disappointing fights ever. What a waste.. And again, they are hyping a potential Kimbo return again..I just don't ing get it. I really don't.. Will someone please ing tell me what Kimbo has done that makes him so special that he and he alone gets the chance to return?? Why should he automatically get picked to return over anyone else?? Is there something wrong with all of the other guys or what? Give some of the other guys another chance. I'd love to see someone else get the chance over Kimbo for sure. Give Big Abe another shot or Demico or one of my personal favorites this season, Wes Sims. I would love to see Wes Sims get another shot instead of Kimbo ing Slice. I really don't know what Kimbo has done to make EVERYONE think he he deserves another shot ahead of the rest of the guys. He's nothing special at all and judging by his last two fights, losing in 14 seconds to the back-up guy and getting owned by the fat-man, he'll be a major let-down in the end. Oh well, I can go on and on about my dislike for the guy, but whatever. His record speaks for itself and it isn't impressive at all. Maybe in the parking lot behind Burger King it is, but inside the cage, he's a loser. I really hope Houston beats Kimbo "Jardine-style". There's nothing I would love to see more than to see Houston demolish Kimbo in quick fashion. That would be tremendous.

I don't like that Roy is so cocky but he does have the most expierence on the show and has fought top guys before, and should of beat Monson. And if Mitrione can't fight why should Kimbo be the one who gets to return? Anyway Glad to see Big Baby win.

For every 2 things Old School says that I agree with, he'll end up saying a couple dozen other things that are just...ugh. Now I won't argue about the obvious reasons for him being advertised as getting another shot, but in some ways it isn't nuts that he's reasonably eligible for one.
You want Abe and Wes to get shots over Kimbo? Abe didn't have a showing that eclipsed Kimbo. He got taken down just like Slice, and managed to get beat up in a far worse manner. And lets not forget the fairly fresh crack he has going down his forehead that would immediately exclude him from a second chance.
As for Sims? Are you serious? He has WAY more experience than Kimbo yet looked horrible in his loss. I love Wes, and think he's hilarious. But I seriously doubt he'd do anything if he got a second shot. I'm not saying Kimbo deserves anything by default hands down, but to say these two are ahead of him for a second chance is pretty far fetched. Demico I'd maybe agree on, but it's not like he turned any heads with his loss either.
I think the only people that deserve a second chance, in order, are Wes Shivers, the guy who lost to Titties, Kimbo, and Demico. I think the fact that Kimbo was basically the only loser on Team Rampage (I don't count Sims, since he lost quickly) to not show excessive fatigue is reason enough to throw him another bone.

I think the only people that deserve a second chance, in order, are Wes Shivers, the guy who lost to Titties, Kimbo, and Demico. I dunno about Shivers. He was in a close fight at least, but he kept putting his hands on his hips in the middle of the fight, and that didn't sit well with me. If you gas out, fine, but don't stand there with your hands on your hips while the clock is running. He was lucky McSweeney also gassed, because a poor-to-average fighter with any stamina would have finished him for doing that. At the very least, use whatever energy you have left to keep your hands up and attempt to look like you're still fighting.

Don't get me wrong, you'd never see me running a petition to get him back into the contest. Shivers showed a terrible gas tank, yes. But still, I give him credit for sticking it out. I was bringing him up more as a way to go along with Old Schools feelings that there should be someone above Kimbo. I probably shouldn't have listed them in order, I'll admit that. I personally feel only Kimbo and Demico should even be remotely considered for a second shot overall.

all that, with how shi*ty the talent pool is in this season, Kimbo should get the shot anyway. At leased he puts on exciting fights given the right opponent. The other fighters/fights have been pitiful in comparison to Kimbo's loss.

I don't know, I just didn't like how they showed in the previews for next week's episode that Kimbo automatically gets the shot without even considering any of the other guys. They showed Brendan going up to Kimbo and saying "looks like you're in" and then Kimbo was like "if I get these mitts on you, you are a done-datta". If that were the case, then why wasn't it like that when he took on Petruzelli or Roy Nelson? Back to back embarassing losses and he still gets the most notice on the show. I don't get it. And I love how Dana White is only singleing out Roy Nelson after that fight with Kimbo saying "it wasn't the most exciting fight he's ever seen and it didn't blow his socks off". If he's talking that way to the guy that won the ing fight, shouldn't he do the same to the guy that lost it?? Seems right to me. It takes two guys to have a bad fight. Does Dana White believe that Kimbo put on a better showing in losing than Roy did winning?? He's got to be out of his mind if he truly believes that. According to Dana, it was completely Roy's fault for not putting on the most exciting fight and yada yada yada. But what about Kimbo? He's the guy that fought and lost to "Big Country". Shouldn't some of the blame from this lackluster fight fall on his shoulders too since he's the guy that lost?? I sure as hell think so, but we haven't heard a thing from Dana saying otherwise since it's only "Big Country's" fault apparently.... If it truly "wasn't the most exciting fight he's ever seen", then why is the loser of that ing fight getting a 2nd chance ahead of everyone else?? Someone please answer me that.

this is a futile argument, because im sure mitrione will end up fighting his fight. but if we are picking guys to get the secondary shot... id go demico, shivers, kimbo in that order. i dont remember the titties fight that well, so somebody mentioned his opponent... alas, i cant remember who it was. but i do remember being... as this season/amateurs go... fairly impressed by demico vs schaub. relatively quick fight, as i remember, but he was in control, and got caught in a submission.
i will admit though, kimbo was in a match that was completely against his style. but still... that craphappens, gotta learn to adapt. as it is... justin wren has gotta be the guy to beat, i think, at this point.

exactly.
On Rampages team he has shown the most heart and the mindset where he doesn't think he is ABOVE the show like the other guys seem to think...when in reality he is the only reason TUF has been getting high ratings. He is completely humble, a deep yet very funny guy. I completely misjudged the guy. I hope to GOD he gets a second chance..but how many times did they tease him coming back for a second shot? So I'm not getting my hopes up at all.
But it has to be true doesn't it? I mean during the previews before this season even aired they showed KIMBO raining down punches on some guy on the mat....or am I crazy? I could have sworn someone from here posted a video of that and everyone was trying to guess who it was at the bottom getting punched by Kimbo.
