"For the past few months, I've been trading e-mails with a certain someone from THQ (really cool guy), and I've gotten him to spill the beans on a bunch of SVR09 info, and recently, Legends of WrestleMania. I can't get into details, but it won't be using the SVR engine. It is YUKE'S, though. I will say this: from what I've seen of it so far, it might be my favorite North American wrestling game since No Mercy."
Seems interesting, we'll see if he's telling the truth at E3.
He later on posted this...
"He hasn't told me much about Legends of WrestleMania, but that it'll be developed by YUKE'S and has an engine entirely separate from SVR. I asked him if it was similar to DOR or Wrestle Kingdom, which he seemed unfamiliar with, but went on to describe the gameplay, which leads me to believe that it'll be something of an indirect sequel to Wrestle Kingdom 2. He also said that the title (Legends of WrestleMania) has no bearing on the roster, and that anybody under contract to WWE or a legends deal is fair game. We'll be getting our first glimpse at E3 if all goes to plan."

That 2nd from last sentence concerns me. Meh, I don't have to play as them so I don't see why it would be that bad, but it would be cool to have a game with only legends. |

That 2nd from last sentence concerns me. Even though it was stated in the article that any wrestler to be included didn't have to be at WrestleMania, I wouldn't mind if current guys were included with their appearances based off their best WrestleMania performances. You know Batista's going to be in it so why not have him in his WM 21 attire? Also, WM 22 Edge, WM XX Cena, etc... |

I wouldnt mind current superstars, as long as they dont outnumber the legends. a cool way i would hope they do, is have the huge legends roster, and the small current roster, like how theres a small legends roster on SvR. |

i hope they have a storyline with Randy Orton in the game and you are able to try to be a true "Legend Killer" and have to beat all the legends in the game.
