Okay not much of a tna fan but I get every ppv what the hell is going on with this after seeing him at the ppv last sunday.What is this whole story all bout is it even a good one you know the X-D was something great in the begining of tnba now it's just a joke.

Petey started doing a "Maple Leaf Muscle" gimmick(bodybuilder/idiot type thing) a few months ago and it wasn't really going anywhere. Then he won a World Title shot, and Steiner won an X Title shot. Steiner was pissed and beat Petey to won both title shots. Steiner then took him under his wing, to mold him to be like him and able to pick up wins and titles.
They did insane skits to toughen him up. And when Steiner thought he was ready, he shaved his head, colored the goatee, gave him the nickname "Little Petey Pump", and gave him the X division title shot. He cashed in the X Title shot on iMPACT and beat Jay Lethal to win it. He got injured, but came back at Slammiversary and beat Kaz.

i'm enjoying it so far. it gives Petey a character that is interesting enough to go with his wrestling skills

While the "Maple Leaf Muscle" (on his own) would grown on me more, the only thing keeping this gimmick alive is he great wrestling ability.
Now, like i've said so many times... go back to the Canadian Destroyer gimmick, then we'll talk.

"Little Petey Pump" is another formulaic TNA gimmick (unknown impersonates a big name) that's making Williams look like Steiner's bitch. It's not entertaining, it's depressing. Petey could've been successful as a legit wrestler but now he's just another sideshow act creative must gets their jollies off watching. What's more sad is that he is suppose to be representing the X-division being portrayed as a submissive weakling.

Does anybody like this gimmick?
More importantly, does anybody NOT think that the "Canadian Destroyer" gimmick returning absolutely help this young man's career?

I like the "Maple Leaf Muscle" gimmick because therre was things they could do with it but turning him into Scott Steiner 2.0 is stupid.
