WrestleMania 24 is coming to Orlando , FL next year. This is right dead smack in TNA's backyard. TNA has the chance to fire the first shot to recreate the wrestling war in 2008. Granted, TNA isn't WCW and couldn't compete with WWE like Ted Turner could, but they can sure as hell try to make a huge buzz for themselves and get people to tune into their product. If I were in charge of TNA, I would book a plan where every single person in TNA invades WrestleMania 24.
There are so many tickets available for WrestleMania 24 right now on EBAY and other websites. It's easy to bid on a ticket and win it. That ticket then becomes your property and you own it and can do anything you want with it. If Kurt Angle purchases a ticket for WrestleMania 24, he has the right to go to it. As long as he doesn't do anything wrong, security can't toss him out of the building. He can sue both the WWE and the stadium if he were thrown out for no reason. Now do you think Kurt Angle sitting among thousands of wrestling fans at the biggest event of the year would draw some buzz? You better believe it would! The entire section would probably be chanting his name, which would lead to the entire arena doing so.
Then picture a few sections over is Booker T. What the hell is going on here? Christian Cage is sitting a few sections away from him. Team 3D have forth row tickets. AJ Styles and Tomko are spotted. There goes Samoa Joe over there. Hall and Nash are ringside. The entire TNA roster is spread among the seventy-plus thousand fans in the building.
The entire building begins chanting TNA during WrestleMania 24. Can you imagine that?
Hell yeah you can!
That just got you excited, didn't it? TNA needs to do this.
TNA can film stuff outside the arena as well, perhaps showing TNA wrestlers tail gaiting before the show. They can interview WWE fans outside of the building and have them say that WWE sucks and TNA rules. They really have the chance to get right in WWE's face come WrestleMania 24. Can TNA compete with WWE? Right now they can't. But they have the golden opportunity to make a huge impact at WWE's biggest event of the year.
TNA invades WrestleMania 24.
If only I worked for TNA, I'd be buying those WrestleMania tickets right now!
Man, would this be big!

I would hate it because TNA would say they're gonna do it before the show happens. Making WWE aware so they know exactly what's going on, who to watch for, and what to do camera wise. It would be smart on TNA's part to get some buzz for themselves, but they'd play it off so badly they'd look like XPW at ECW.

I don't see what the point would be. They would put money in WWE's pocket by buying tickets - think of how much tickets would be..

I'm pretty sure WWE has the right to eject anyone out of the building for whatever reason they want. Once you buy a ticket and enter the arena that goes into effect. Think of the people who get kicked out just for signs or shirts. Now imagine of Angle, Booker, Christian, Steiner, or Team 3D show up and are on the hard camera side. Forget it. They wouldn't be able to ask a vendor for cotton candy without WWE considering it interfering with the broadcast and be thrown out.
And honestly, it would be kind of lame since ECW(even though it was a work) already did this.

That would be sad if TNA actually did that and make them look even more bush league...
This isn't 1998 and craplike that...
A) isn't cool anymore B) Still won't do anything to gain fans for them

Ten years ago that may have worked. The companies aren't even on the same level for that idea to work. WCW and WWF were at the same level. TNA and WWE aren't.

You can't have a war when you're using your guns to play Put-Put.
TNA needs to gather their crapbefore thinking about starting a war

TNA has to worry about ROH in there backyard . TNA has to worry about ROH out doing them that weekend & out wrestling tna that wekend.also WWE has the right at the door to say you can't come in & just refund your ticket . so do you think that TNA wrestlers could get past the front door without being spotted. i don't think the can .also WWE can make sure tna can't even step on the property that weekend at all.

Buildings & events have the right to refuse admission to anyone if so required. A big event like this in TNA's backgarden no way would they be allowed in the building.
Plus this exact same thing hardly did much for XPW apart from getting a kicking enroute to being chucked out by the ECW regulars.
Rather than this focus on sensible storylines that make sense and are interesting & pushing the younger talented guys over the veterans to give them the star rub & make TNA seem fresh

Hahahahahahahaha. That's the worst plan ever for two or three reasons:
These are WWE fans, why would they chant for a guy who's not in the WWE ? These aren't ECW fans who will chant anything, this is WWE fans, half of which are consisted of children.
Wow, he really figured this out well....
No I can't imagine that, considering they paid to watch WWE wrestling not TNA wrestling.
Hell no I can't.
No, I didn't get excited, and no, TNA shouldn't do this.
Why would WWE fans say that WWE sucks and TNA rules ??
Totally intellectually- disabled.
Most fans won't even know who TNA is.
TNA need to concentrate on their own wrestling, not other people's.

I'd have to say that while this would create some buzz, they need to sit down and reallyd irect their own product. Not try to compete with WWE. Like Vince said in the Monday Night Wars DVD. Paraphrased, if you're going to go up against a giant, you don't go head to head. You'll only get knocked down. TNA should learn from that phrase.

I'd love to see it personally. They don't really have anything to lose by doing it I think. Though I'm pretty sure they should be doing at least some 2.0's in the ratings before they start doing this type of thing. They've been stuck in the same place for a long time without a major increase in PPV's buys either. It would be fun though!
