Always have done - pretty much ever since his debut.. He's just never appealed to me whatsoever, and his ring-work leaves a lot to be desired.. Granted, he's a good talker - but nothing amazing and most of his promos are the same old repetitive crap.. when Punk wrestled Edge, he pretty much showed him up and gave him a wrestling lesson - particularly in their first meeting.. Edge couldn't get near him.. Like someone on here said, he does reek of mediocrity and the mid-card - in fact, I still don't buy him as an established main-eventer or marquee name.. He'll always be mid-card standard to me.. It annoys me, that he's got the belt yet again - which he always seems to get when there's no other options.. Plus he's a proven 'roid user.. I'm surprised that so many people in this thread agree - especially as he's seen as some kind of wrestling god on this board..

I think Edge, more than any other wrestler has stepped his game up in the last 3-4 & evolved so much. You could say Batista as well, but there is no comparison between the two of them on a wrestling level

I am an Edge fan, but since late last year when he returned from his injury, he seems to have gotten really stale and the thing with Vickie is basically a re-run of the Edge/Lita programme from a couple of years ago. I agree. And him feuding with only Undertaker and Batista for the last 2 years does not help. |
