Well, they might as well give him something to work with and see if it sticks.
However, I don't think this was the right approach. He was just on TV recently as regular Burke, so how will they explain this?

Really dissapointed. Burke has a ton of actual wrestling potential, and that gimmick doesn't look like he'll be good in the ring...

Hmmm.....this gimmick w/ pants looks to eliminate the awesome that is the Elijah Express.
I don't think that after ditching KEVIN THE VAMPIRE that they'd bring in yet another vampire gimmick so soon. Figure 5-6 years between Gangrel & Thorne. Anyway, w/ the perm, the pimp cup.....this could very well be Apimpnamedslickback type of gimmick. THink....Gofather 2k8.
