Weird... I won't really think anything of it until he takes a blatent shot at CM Punk on the mic while having the X's on his hands, I'd mark if he did the signature Straight Edge pose.

I dunno about this supposed "heat" between Booker and Punk. Booker had Punk at one of the early PWA shows last year. I wouldn't imagine him bringing someone in he doesn't like

Then maybe it's as I originally thought - a nod to Punk.. Maybe Booker sympathises with Punk and feels he is being mis-used - just as Booker believed he himself, was being mis-used..

Uh, not really. I thought the discussion was about weather Book was "straight edge" or not. Then he said it might've been a "go" at Punk.. which really makes no sense seeing as Punk doesn't work for TNA.  I agree with you all the time, but not now. Its well known that Punk is friends with a lot of the guys in TNA, and more than likely tunes in once in a while to catch their matches. Maybe Booker is pissed because he was suspended for using drugs, and is bitter towards the guys who dont have to use them, and still get huge reactions from the crowds. Its no secret that Book is a pot smoking, roid taking, alcoholic. So, there is no way in hell he's straight edge. The most obvious thing that could be going on here is hes trying to start something with Punk. |
