I know everyone here for the most part is a huge mark for these guys, but I'm tired of it. It's obviously going to go nowhere and I always felt it was an odd pairing (Shelley and Austin Starr were much better together) I know there shirts sell and all that, but I'd like to see a bitter fued between them at some point. I remember Sabin's heel days against Senshi fondly. We've all always said Shelley is the next Jericho. So let him be that guy.
Not saying do this right away, but heck if you're not going to put the straps around them do something exciting.
*Note I changed it to MMG since that's what is on there t-shirts. Tired of people going "It's not mcmg it's mmg!" So let's not even bring up that little topic in this thread that is brought up in every other thread about these guys.*

I have a feeling after the World X Cup they're gonna put the tag straps on MCMG. After they've gone through everyone in the tag division (and established a few more tag teams) they should break up, feud, and go their separate ways... Alex Shelley needs to be pushed to the main event as a heel managed by Kevin Nash. Chris Sabin should also be considered in the main event because of how long he's been with the company... though I'd probably give the TNA title to Shelley alone.

They should push them....not break them. MCMG is one of the most exciting tag teams in all of the world today. Best match last night was their match with the guys from Dragon Gate.

Yeah, but if you are of the opinion I am at that Alex Shelley could truly be a star there and truly raise the level of that company then you'd think they are being wasted. Think about it, Shelley's got the look and the personality. Paired with Kevin Nash he could be an ultra entertaining heel. Remember how golden those skits were with Nash and the x-division guys? Then you've got the smaller champion with big bodyguard thing like HBK back in the day, except Nash never has to wrestle. Shelley's also got that coolness factor that is really missing from wrestling for the most part. It's not forced he's just naturally the way he is. They need to let him start cutting promos on his own. Just imagine a fued with him and Christian. GOLDEN>

Honestly I could see them breaking up in the future, but not now. I'd like a tag title run or two with them, they're the best tag team TNA has to me. They work so well because they formed on their own not because of TNA. Their match with Doi and Yoshino was great last night. The fact they won was even more surprising, they haven't had a win on TV in awhile.

I think a shelley main event run could be the thing to give TNA that boost, since it would be a completely non WWE thing to do, giving a guy who isn't huge, who can wrestle anybody and make it entertaining and who can pull a truly entertaining promo, a main event run. I would love to see Shelley get that push, even if it means breaking him away from Sabin.

I would keep them together and have them fued with LAX over the tag titles. If possible even bring back "Speed Muscle" in for another match or two either just againist the Guns or in a three with them and LAX as last nights tag match was great.

Didn't I post something recently about this as well, just kind of a different premise behind the thread? Anyway, I like Sabin more than Shelley. Not saying I hate Shelley, but I just like Sabin more.

Instead TNA should be giving these 2 a nice long run with the Tag titles. On a side note id wish TNA would release a dvd of this team. Some singles matches of the two, against each other, and their tag matchs, including Thursdays iMPACT! match vs. SpeedMuscle. That match was amazing.

I don't think that they should. Really, I think WWE should sign them so they could get better recognition, but as we all know WWE would ruin the team.
